Chapter 5

Previously on Chapter 4

"Welcome back, Y/N-Chan!!!" They yell in unison. I jump since I'm not expecting that. "Sheesh.... Guy, my hearing is sharper than you. You're gonna make me go deaf if you yell like that" I whined. "Oops sorry, Y/N-Chan" they say. I just laugh and hug as much people as my arms let me.

I'm back... I'm really back

-Sasuke's Visit-

Y/N P.O.V

It's been a week since I've return to Konoha. My friends are pretty welcoming. Although I would occasionally get hate glances from the people around me. I don't blame them... I deserve it for betraying Konoha.

I walk around the village with people around me sending me glares. I hear them whispering to each other, they think I can't hear them. But it's loud and clear thanks to my super senses of being a vampire. They are saying things like "look there she is... The traitor" "What's that Monster doing here?" "She have a guts for returning to this village after betraying us" and more. But I just try my best to ignore them.

I walk towards the lake and take a seat. I dip my feet into the water. I sigh "I really wish I never betray this village" I say to myself. I look up to the sky. I remember all the good memories I have here.

'Sasuke... How are you taking it? The fact that I chose to leave you and return to Konoha. Will you hate me?' I thought. I love Sasuke... So much. But I love this village more. Everyone in it. They are the ones who accepts my true identity without judging me, even though some of them are afraid of me. But Naruto, Lord 3rd Hokage and the others accepts me.

I focus on my surrounding and use my elements technique and create some tunes. Then I starts singing.

(Evanescence - Forgive Me)

I close my eyes as I starts to sing. I sing this song for Sasuke. Even though he didn't hear me. But this is for him.

The song comes to an end. I open my eyes and wipe a single tear that escape my right eye. I look down. "I'm sorry Sasuke... I'm sorry that I chose to leave you" I say.

"You shouldn't be sorry" I jump at the voice. I turn around and my eyes widened. "S-Sasuke?" I say out of shock. "Hey Y/N" he said, a small smile is plastered on his face. I got up "w-what are you d-doing here?" I stutter. How can I not notice him here? Am I going weak?

He stares at me, then turn his head down. "Why? So I can't come to see my own girlfriend now?" He said. "I-I thought you'd hate me... Since I chose to leave you" I said. He smiles "I can't hate you... I love you. You just followed what your instinct told you to and I won't blame you for that. I respect your choice, Y/N. If being here in Konoha is what's makes you happy... Then you must stay here. You belong here" he said. "You belong here too" I said. He shook his head "no.... I don't belong here anymore. This place is not my home" he said. I shook my head "this IS your home, Sasuke. Come back to us" I pleads. He walk closer to me.

Once his directly in front of me, he moves his hands and place them on my cheeks. "Y/N.... I can't go back. I have to continue my training with Orochimaru. I will come back once my purpose is complete" he said. "Bu-" I got cut off by him placing his lips on mine. I kiss him back softly.

He pulls away and place his forehead on mine. "I love you, Y/N. Safe your heart for me. But... If it became painful to wait, then don't" he said. He pulls away and place something on my hand. He leans down and place a soft kiss on my forehead. I close my eyes, savouring the feeling of his lips on my skin. "Until next time..." He said. I open my eyes and notice that Sasuke was no where to be seen.

I raise my hand to see what he gave me. It's a ring... A promise ring. With our initials engrave on it.

"Sasuke..." I whispers as tears begin to spill out of my eyes. I drop on my knees and place the ring close to my chest.

Sasuke P.O.V

I conceal my chakra so she wouldn't notice I'm here. She's on her knees and holding the ring I gave to her close.

As I watch her cry, my own tears is flowing down my cheeks as well. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I love you... I really do. But I have to avenge my family. I have to kill Itachi" I said. Then I turn to leave.

I'll come back for you... Wait for me

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

Naruto invited me to eat some ramen with him. Even though I don't eat human food, but I decide to tag along. I need something to get my mind of Sasuke.

When we get there. I took a seat next to him. "Ah... My fav costumer. What can I get for you two" Teuchi exclaims. I smile at him. "Pork ramen please" Naruto said. Teuchi turns to me "what about you?" He asks. "No... I'm just here to accompany Naruto" I said. Teuchi nod his head and walk away to start cooking for Naruto's order.

"So Y/N-Chan... It's such a shame you can't taste human food" Naruto said. I turn to him "why?" I asks. "Because there's a lot of delicious food you can try. Especially ramen" he said. "Well... There's nothing I can do. I was born this way" I said, shrugging. "You're right" Naruto said. Teuchi finally come to serve Naruto's order. Then he starts eating them.

"You seem to really love ramen" I said. "Yeah! This is the best food I've ever had" he said. I smile "yeah... I can see that" I said.

After I accompany him, I decide it was time to go home. I jump from roof to roof. I don't feel like walking. Once I get to my home, I change into my pyjamas and flop on the bed. I laid on my back as I stare at the ceiling. I move my hand to my neck, where the chain is. I didn't wear the ring. I wear it as a necklace. I sigh "Sasuke... I really miss you" I whispers. I move to lay on my side and close my eyes. Slowly drift off to sleep.
