Chapter 10

Previously on Chapter 9

I start to feel exhausted from all the screaming and crying. I give in and close my eyes. Slowly drift off to sleep in Naruto's arms.

-Returning His Feelings-

Y/N P.O.V

I woke up the next day. I realise I was laying on my bed. I look around the room, to see Naruto laying on the couch.... Sound asleep. I get up, trying to be as quiet as possible. I walk slowly towards his sleeping figure, carrying a blanket with me.

When I reach him, I drape the blanket around his sleeping form. He must have stayed here, after he tried to comfort me. Then my mind drift of to Sasuke. 'He's here last night... I've broke it off with him...' I thought to myself. I blink back the tears. This is for the best... I can not wait any longer.

I decide to make something for Naruto to eat. But I don't exactly know what to make, I can't cook. Even if I try to cook... It'll probably taste bad. I can't taste the food to make sure it taste good. But I'll just give it a shot.

I walk towards the kitchen. Then I open the fridge. For some reason... Even though I didn't use the kitchen, I still load up some supplies in it. I guess that makes me feel normal. Make me feel like a normal human.

I take out a few egg. Deciding to make some omelette for Naruto. I begin to cook, relaying only on my memory. I watched human's cook before. So that's what I do.

In the middle of cooking, someone wrap their arms around my waist. This makes me jump in fright. I turn my head slightly to see a sleepy Naruto. I sigh "you scared me... Naruto" I said. He raise an eyebrow and respond with a laugh. "What? Y/N... I always thought that vampire could sense things from afar..." He said. "That is if I let my guard up... Which I'm not at the moment..." I said, rolling my eyes. "Oh... Sorry then..." He said, nuzzling his head on my neck.

"Naruto..." I call out. "Yeah?" He responds. "Aren't you cold?" I said. "Why?" He said. "My body is cold as eyes... Shouldn't that make you cold?" I said, turning my head just enough so I could see him. "No... For a vampire... You are kind of warm..." He said. "Really?" I ask. "Yup" he said.

Then he look down at the omelette I'm cooking. "You're cooking?" He said, surprised. I nod my head. "Yeah... I try to... Hopefully it didn't turn out bad..." I said. Naruto sniff it a bit. "It smells pretty good, though..." He said. "Really? I can't smell anything... All I could smell is your...." I paused. "My?" He questions. "... Blood" I said, looking away from him.

He turns the stove off, then he turns me to face him. He cups my cheeks, caressing it softly. "Y/N... You don't have to feel embarrassed. I get it, you're a vampire.... It's natural for you to only able to smell blood" he said. "You're not creep out? I'm a Monster, Naruto... Why do you love me?" I said. He sighs and pulls me into a hug. "I said this ones... But I don't mind repeating myself if it's necessary..." He paused, kissing the top of my head. I just stay silent, waiting for him to continue talking.

"You're the most friendliest person/vampire I have ever met. You're sweet, smart... Not to mention, beautiful... There's plenty of reasons to love you... And zero reason to hate you... I don't care if you're a vampire... I love you, as who you are... Not what you are... I love you, Y/N... so... So much... Never have doubt in that... Okay?" he said. My heart melt by what he said. I nod my head, leaning my head in his chest. "Okay... Thank you, Naruto... Those meant the world to me..." I said, my eyes swelling in tears of happiness. I never thought it was possible for someone to love me this much. I always see myself as a monster. But Naruto shows me... That I can be more. That I can be someone better.

I pull away slightly so I could see him. He smiles at me, as he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. He leans down to kiss me gently on my lips. I smile softly as I close my eyes, kissing him back.

He pulls away and looks at me. "I love you, Y/N-Chan..." He said, as he leans his forehead against mine. I smile "I love you too, Naruto..." I said. His eyes widened as he pulls back. "W-what did you just said?" He said. "I said I love you, too..." I said, smiling at him. His eyes got even wider. "You said it... You finally said it! Oh my God! Oh my God!!! Yes!!!" He screams happily, jumping around the kitchen. I sweat-dropped as I watch him cheering.

Then he runs towards me and picks me up, he spun us around. "Naruto!!! Stop it!!" I squeal, clutching onto his black shirt. He didn't wear his jacket.

He laughs as he place me down. He pulls me back into his arms. "I'm so happy... You can finally say it back... You can finally say that you love me back. Oh my God... This is the best day in my entire life!" He said. I laugh at this and hug him back. I know how tight I need to hug him. I can't go too tight, otherwise I might squeeze him to death. "I love you... I love you, Naruto... I truly do..." I said. "I'm happy... So happy..." He said.

I finish up cooking and place the dishes on the table. "Here you go, Naruto... I hope it didn't taste bad..." I said. He smiles at me and pick up a fork. He takes a bite. I wait anxiously for his reaction. His eyes lit up "this taste amazing, Y/N-Chan! I didn't know you can actually cook so well!" He said. I let out a breath of relief. "Oh... Thank God... I almost thought I jinxed it..." I said. He chuckles and eats more. I place my chin on my hand that's leaning up against the table. I watch as he eats the food I cooked for him.

I can finally return his feelings... I'm so happy... He's been through so much for me... So returning his feelings is the best I could do
