Chapter 12

Previously on Chapter 11

He turns to look at me. "Yeah?" He asks. "Your arm... This is not the time to act like a couple.." I said. "Oh... Right, sorry..." He said, removing his arm. I kiss his cheek, smiling at him. "Don't worry.... We can have a moment later, kay?" I said. He nods his head "okay..." He said, smiling at me. Then we continue our way.

-Fight-

Y/N P.O.V

We keep walking towards the village, where we supposed to go. Naruto is still sulking over the fact that he can't act like a couple with me. He's so cute.

Even so... He kept close distance with me. We would keep talking to each other along the way.  "I really can't wait for this Mission to be over..." He grumble. I giggle "patient, Naruto..." I said. He huffed "I wanna cuddle with you~" he let out a whine. I quickly cover his mouth, as the others turn their head to look at us.

Then I turn to look back at him. "Don't be so loud... Naruto" I said. "Sofmmy" he said, which is muffled by my hand. I pull away my hand from his mouth. "What?" I ask, looking at him with a confused face. "I said sorry..." He said. I smile and pinch his cheek.

"Oww!!! What was that for..." He said, rubbing his cheek. "For being a dork..." I said. He wrap his arm around my shoulder and grin "but I'm your dork..." he said. I roll my eyes. "Riiighttt?" He said again. "Yeah yeah... You're my dork" I said, kissing his cheek.

He blush beet red. Then he grin at me. "What?" I question, looking at him with a raised eye-brow. "I thought we weren't suppose to act like a couple... Since it's a Mission... " He said, with a huge smirk on his face. I blush in respond. 

"We're here..." He whispers. I turn my head to look forward. He's right... From a far I can see the town. It's not in a good condition. Debris from the remaining of the building, scattered everywhere. There must be a big fight going on.

I clench my fist as I continue to stare at the fallen town. 'Is Sasuke really the one causing this damage?' I thought to myself. I shake my head. He couldn't have gone that bad... He can't.

"Finally you guys are here..." We turn our head towards the sudden voice. My eyes widened at who I saw.

"S-Sasuke..." I said, in shock. He turn his head to look at me. "Ah... Y/N..." He said, smirking at me. Then he looks at Naruto, who's standing behind me. "Hello... Dope..." He said, with an emotionless expression.

Then he disappear and reappear behind me... In front of Naruto. I turn around to see Sasuke have his sword against Naruto's neck. "Sasuke! Don't!" I yell out. He turn his head slightly to look at me in the eyes. "Don't worry, Y/N... I won't hurt your beloved BOYFRIEND" he spat the word 'Boyfriend.' I flinch at his tone.

"Why are you doing all this?" I ask. "Hm? What are you talking about?" He said. I gesture to the town with my hand. "The town, Sasuke! Why did you destroy the town!!" I scream. He smirk at me. "It's only a bait... I know Tsunade would send you here..." He said. My eyes widen at what I heard.

"But... You're not my target... My target is..." He said, turning around and point his sword towards Naruto. "You!" He yelled out, then he advance towards Naruto.

"Because of you! I lost her! Now she chose you more than me!! You bastard!!" He screams as he swung his sword at Naruto. Naruto can only dodge his attack.

"Sasuke! Stop it!!" I scream. "Y/N-Chan! Stay out of this fight! This is between me and him!!" Naruto yell at me, stopping me from taking another step. "But-" I said, but he cuts me off. "I'll be okay... Don't worry..." He said, with a smile on his face. Then he focus towards his battle with Sasuke.

"Naruto..." I said, taking a step forward. But a hand stops me from going further. I turn my head to see its Sai. He gives me a close eyes smile. "Naruto is a strong willed guy... He'll be fine... Don't worry, Y/N-Chan..." He said. I just stare at him and nod my head. 'I have to trust Naruto... Sai is right. Naruto is a strong willed guy... This fight won't do him any harm...' I try to convince myself.

The fight goes on for a while. Both of them are in a bad shape. I bit my nail in anxious. I don't want either of them to get hurt. Sasuke may hurt me... But he used to be in my heart. I still care for him. I don't want to see him hurt. Then Naruto... My Boyfriend. I love him, so I don't want him to get hurt.... Neither of them.

Naruto fall on his knees. "Crap... I used too much chakra..." He said. "Naruto..." I said, as I take a step forward. He lift his hand to tell me to stop... And I did. Then he turn his hand and give me a thumb up.

"I'm okay, Y/N-Chan... Don't come here! I can still handle this fight" He said. Then he force himself to get up. Then they start fighting once again.

Sasuke eventually fall on his knees. Then two shinobi appear, taking him away. Naruto start to sway. So I run towards him. I caught him as he was falling, catching him before he hits the ground.

I place his head on my lap. He smiles as he look up at me. He place his hand on my cheek "I told you I'll be okay, didn't I?" He said. I smile and caress his cheek, placing my other hand on his hand... Which is still on my cheek.

He remove his hand, placing them on top of his stomach. Then he close his eyes. Soon I hear a soft snore coming from him. He fell asleep. I smile softly, placing my hand on his hair...  caressing it softly.
