Chapter 3

Alex POV

It had been nearly a week since Louis saw my cuts. Yes there were brand new ones too.

I had been avoiding him as I didn't want him to catch me. I could tell he was staring at me while I was eating my toast.

 "So what are we doing today?" I asked the boys with a cheerful spring in my voice.

"I'm going shopping for the day with Harry and Zayn" Niall said while stuffing his face full of food. "I'm going to see Danielle today, so I guess it's just you and Louis here" Liam chirped. God I hated him when he chirped it was so....unatural.

"Yeah, I guess" I didn'nt bother to look at louis. I did everyones dishes before heading up to my room to have a shower and get dressed.

I walked out in a flowery dress that came to my knees and i had my hair out in loose curls. I had applied stacks of make up onto my arms as well.

I walked over to Liam who was checking himself out in the mirror. God it's just a date! "I'll see you soon" Liam said as he pulled me into a hug.

He pulled apart and ruffled his hand through my hair. I playfully slapped him. He just laughed before walking out of the door as the other boys had already left.

Louis was asleep on the couch with the TV turned on. I hated doing this to him. To the boys. Lying. I sat on the remaining sofa and watched spongebob.

I was halfway through the spongebob marathon when i felt someone tap me on the shoulder from behind. I was so shocked that I bounced to the ceiling.

I turned around and saw Louis standing with a with a smirk. "Damn you Lou" I said before chucking the cushion I WAS sitting on at him. He chuckled at my lame attempt at throwing before turning al serious ninja mode.

"We need to talk"

I followed Louis into the Kitchen where he had his arms cross and gave me the 'explain' look. I took a deep breath.

"Look Louis. Please, Please don't tell Liam." I begged him while running my hands through my hair. He sighed before grabbing my wrist and examining it.

"How long?" he asked not looking at me. "A while" I said if I told him that I had been doing it for 6 years he would kill me. He just looked at me like a blank wall. Why can't he show his stupid self 24/7?

"Alex just tell me, who else knows? and why?" he said with an emotion running through his eyes I had never seen before..pain? "Danielle knows..." I trailed off. 

"Al, you need to stop this. Please just tell me why" he pleaded with saddness in his voice.

I started shaking and tear fell from my eyes. He wiped away some of the tears as I let him comfort me. I couldn't keep it together anymore.

I burst out crying.

Louis Shirt was soaked by the time I had finished. I looked at him and knew that i could trust him.

Louis POV

As those last words came out of her mouth I realized she was crying again. I was really upset that she would do something like that to herself! Why didn't she go to Liam for help?

"Please, please don't tell Li. He will kill me. Please" she begged. "I'm sorry al. But he has the right to know" I said back to her. "Lou! Please I-I i'm begging you"

Now she was a complete and utter mess. I couldnt bear it any longer. I got up and walked right infront of her.

She was about to start begging again but i stopped her. I crashed my lips onto hers.

She hesitated at first but then joined in.

Our lips moved in sync with each other. 

Nothing else mattered to me but her. 

I broke the kiss apart and stared into those beautiful brown eyes of hers. She smiled at me before sniffling.

I chuckled before picking her up bridal style and carrying her into the living room where we waited for the others to arrive.
