Chapter 8

Alex POV

I sat on my bed playing my laptop. I was checking my twitter as I hadn't been on it for a while. Ok well that was a lie but twitter is just so addicting!

Lou and I hadn't announced our relationship yet and I was kinda glad, I didn't have to deal with reporters or paparazzi, i've never had to deal with them as I didn't want the world knowing I was Liam Payne's sister and Liam accepted that so just our other sisters were known as Liam Paynes sisters.

 I just had my boyfriend all to myself. Boyfriend. I know this will sound childish but I still get so excited saying that.

I logged off twitter and went over to my en-suite and looked through the cupboards for some beta-dine. Liam had told me to apply some to my wrists every 2-3 times a day.

Once I had wrapped it back up and pulled my sleeve down I quickly threw my wet tangled hair into a messy bun that sat on the top of my head.

I walked down stairs to an empty dark quiet living room. It was very quiet.

Too quiet.

Normally I would be able to hear the sound of Niall shoving Crisps into his mouth behind the sofa, or Liam listening to the radio.

I decided to walk over to the lounge as someone left their wallet here. More than likely one of the boys. I rolled my eyes as I picked it up.

I turned around to be blinded by the room light turning on and voices yelling in my ears.

"SURPRISE!" I heard voices yell.  I looked around to see balloons and streamers everywhere. I saw the boys smirking. Have I forgotten someones birthday?

"Uhm what's going on?" I asked confused. "Hello! We are throwing you a surprise birthday party!" Zayn said in a 'duh' tone.

"I kinda figured that out" I said back in a smart tone "But wait, it's my birthday?" I asked while trying to remember the date.

"Yes, Alex, it is your birthday" Liam said getting up from his crouched position. "YAY!" I suddenly yelled running around fist pumping the air and running into the kitchen but ended up running into someone.

"Nicole!" I yelled hugging my older sister who looked like I was crushing her.

"Hold up there girl" another voice said. I looked around and saw Ruth and Danielle. Although Danielle wasn't my sister, she was always there when I needed her.

I ran up and hugged them both.

"PRESENT TIME!" Louis yelled running through the kitchen which made us all crack up. We sat in a circle in the living room.

One at a time they all came up and gave me my presents. I got about 14 from Lou as he said some of them were from his sisters.

All together I got.

"Thank you guys! I mean it I love all of the presents and stuff!" I said hugging everyone again. Everyone had sang Happy Birthday to me and we were now eating the yummy cake Danielle had baked.

As I took another bite of the chocolatey deliciousness I noticed Harry had disappeared somewhere.

"Hey Ruth, Have you seen where Harry went to?" I asked finishing up the last of my cake. "Yeah, he said that he had to meet someone and he said that he will be back in a few minutes".

Yeah probably off with that piece of Shi-taki mushrooms Tess. Of course I didn't say that in front of every one, instead I just smiled and nodded.

Even though I had forgiven Harry, It doesn't mean I like his girlfriend.

I offered to take everyone's dishes and wash them up. As I started washing up the last one I heard footsteps enter the kitchen. I turned around to see Lou leaning against the cupboard smiling.

"Ok, You want something, cough it up" I said seriously.

"Well..I was Think..seeing it's your birthday and all..." He started trailing off "Maybe we could announce our relationship" Louis finished while playing with the end of my hair.

Maybe telling the others would be a good thing. I mean maybe it's time to tell the world about me. Come out of this dark hole I have been in for so long.

"Sure, Sounds like a plan. And in fact I think i'm ready for Liam to tell the world about me being his sister!" I said putting the gloves away before Louis pulling me into an embrace.

He kissed me softly on the nose before taking my hand and pulling me out into the lounge room. Everyone was sitting on the sofas and floor playing Monopoly.

I noticed Harry had comeback from wherever he went off to. "Guys....Guys.." I said with no answer both times, "GUYS!" Lou screamed at the top of his lungs.

"RETARD MUSHROOMS! LISTEN!" I added in as everyone stopped and stared at us.

"Well.. I have an announcement" I said swallowing the lump in the back of my throat. "Well, Lou and I are...Dating" I said and doing so everyone ran up and hugged as both squeezing my lungs out.

"Congratulations!!! WE KNEW YOU TWO WOULD GET TOGETHER SOMETIME!!!" Nicole said jumping up and down clapping her hands together.

I laughed as I playfully punched her in the arm.

Harry walked over and slipped something into Lou's hand and whispered something into his ear while Louis went a deep crimson, "Lou what did harry give you?" I asked him while having my hand on my hip. "Nothing, important" Lou said ruffling my hair with his hand.

"Oi!" I slapped his hand away.

"NIALLL! GIMMIE THE STUPID PHONE!" Zayn yelled to Niall which was coming from the kitchen. We all walked in to see Niall sitting on the cupboard typing away on Zayn's phone. "NEVER!" Niall yelled back while smirking.

What am I gonna do with these two?
