Chapter 15-Despondency

How can things turn in a certain way you can never get ANY hint because life is actually uncertain.
A temporary thud of emotion, a discreet plea of moments is all a pre-settled game of heart. It's not that you win or lose, It's just you'll fall anyway. So you better play it. Because you're left with no choice!

I have no idea how I left his house, got a bus even in the late hours and reached home. I was in a continuous trail of tears. I was rubbing them away with my hands but it all made me remember the touch of his fingers on my face so I stopped doing that.
I let my tears fell.

I had no idea either I'll drain,
they'll dry or . . .
I'll drown.

The only thing that was running in my mind was how Min-ah had reacted. It's a different story that I want Yoon-gi in my life but I don't want Min-ah to leave him. It's insane to think but Yes It is!
He loves her. How would he feel if Min-ah turn all suspicious on him because of me?
I can be his friend or just a mate for the whole freaking life but I can't put up with becoming a NO-ONE.

Soaking the pillow with my tears that night, my silent cries made me realize that I was falling for him. Falling in the deep waters, where . . . there's no light.

Min Yoon-gi's POV

"I think I should leave."

She uttered while tears still flowing through her eyes. I could guess the knot of her throat just by the pitch of her voice.

I really had no idea why she was crying. I really had no idea why I was legit disturbed by Min-ah's presence right here, at this moment. The sight must have been astonishing for Min-ah, that's what I could guess from her expressions.

At that moment, my brain wasn't querying about how Min-ah would react or what she would say? Only thing that was running in mind was how Hyeri would go back? In this late hour, it was hard to find a bus rather waiting for one on the bus stop. I was getting worried about her because . . .

She is my FRIEND.

But here, It was Min-ah in front me.

My girlfriend.
My Best friend.
The girl whom I love and who loves me.
So I should choose her.

Decision was taken in a minute.

Her reaction was certain. She was bewildered and exasperated,

And a question-mark.

" How the hell Hyeri was here? "
" Like at this late hour why you both were in your bedroom? "
She was now practically roaring.

"Relax Min-ah ! We were just in the bedroom not on my bed. "
It was frustrating–all the yelling and questions but I had to be composed. Only then this investigation could end.

"But still why she was –"
And I grabbed her in a hug.

"Now calm and No yelling from now on, at least for tonight!"
I uttered softly with a comforting smile on my face although she couldn't see but I knew she would feel somehow.

"But you were sitting so close with her and your hands were even touching her face!"
Her head was still resting on my shoulder and my arms wrapped around her waist. She made a pouty face as she spoke. I couldn't see obviously but I guessed or more specifically, I knew.

Because we know each other that well. Knowing like really knowing. We know everything about each other. I know how I can make her laugh. I know what she would feel about certain things. We discuss each and every detail of our life with each other and we never lie. Being childhood friends made as more understandable towards each other.

I smiled.
"Do you trust me Min-ah?"
Silence for a moment.
" Umm Yes! "
" Then? "
I was now looking straight into her eyes. I knew how to make her nervous.
You know it right? Because I love her.

I succeeded. She hid her face in the crook of my neck and gave a slight press of her lips on my skin. My smile got wider.
I kissed her back at the same spot on her neck where she did on mine. She jumped. I knew how to make her fluster.

"Yoon-gi what are you doing? You know it tickles─"
Yes I knew it tickles her. Because I love her.

She was again in my embrace. Both of us were listening to the music of each other's heartbeat.
