Chapter 6

TYLER

"Just ask her out you idiot” I was in my room with Hunter lying on my bed. He had a basketball in his hands and was throwing it up and down. “I mean the worst thing she could do? Break your heart in million pieces, leaving you depressed?” I looked up at him.

“Jee that makes me feel better” I rolled my eyes. He chuckled and sat up.

“Sorry, but seriously, she could say yes” I sighed and threw a shoe at him.

“Your no help” I whined. He shrugged and got up.

“I'm going home” He smirked and left “Don't stay up all night worrying if Meg likes you or not” He chuckled. He knew I would now.

I sighed and laid on my bed. I groaned and got my phone out. I searched for Meg's number and breathed out when I pressed call. “You've reached Meg, leave a message” I hung up and threw the phone on my bed side table.

I honestly don't get how I could be so bad at getting the courage up to ask her out. The next day was the big game. It was the grand final and we were versing Grant's team. I smiled at Meg when I passed her “Ty wait up” she called after me “Did you call me last night?” she asked.

I scratched the back of my neck “Yeah, I wanted to ask you something” She smiled and nodded. I looked at her and breathed out. She was in the blue and white cheerleading uniform. Blue and white was the colours of our team “Will you go on a date with me?” I asked in a rush.

She didn't answer, she just leaned in and kissed me. When she pulled back she whispered in my ear “About time you asked” she then walked away. I smiled and walked onto the field.

I guess you could say I wanted to impress her, so I kicked goals, stole balls and made Grant fall a couple of times. I also may have injured him for what he did to Ash, who was on the sideline and I saw him smile when he saw Grant fall over gripping his ankle where I had kicked it. I got benched, but it was worth it.

We won the game and Meg came up to me “Yes by the way, I will go on a date with you” I nodded and smiled.

LOUIS

I went up to Tyler both proud and disappointed in him. “You purposely kicked him didn't you?” I asked. He sighed and nodded.

“The guy deserved it. He makes everyone miserable. He broke Asher's leg” I sighed.

“You fighting back like that makes it worse, but in saying that I'm proud, you did a good job” He smiled “And your grounded” The smile was off his face.

“But dad, I just got a date, please ground me after the date” I looked at him and sighed.

“Ask your mum” He groaned and I smiled “Hey, at least you won” He made a noise in response. I chuckled and parked the car.

“DADDY” Nova ran up to me and I picked her up.

“How's my princess?” She giggled and hugged me.

We had dinner and went to bed “What'd you say about the date?” I asked Eleanor. She looked up at me.

“I told him that he could go but then it's straight to being grounded.” I nodded.

“I'm disappointed that he did it, but that kid was asking for it. He gives the kids a hard time” I stated. She looked at me and shook her head.

“They should tell the teacher if it gets bad” She stated “And Zayn can handle what happened with Ash, Tyler doesn't need to get involved.” She told me. I sighed and nodded.
