Diego
I woke up with needles in my hands and arms and a splitting head ache.
The bright lights caused my head ache to worsen.
The room was a white and blue theme filled with flyers for medical things.
I hardly remembered anything.
"Aw, Mr Leanos, I see your awake." A guy says walking in.
"Why am I here?" I ask.
"You and another patient were involved in a severe car crash."
My mind flooded instantly of what happened it almost hurt.
"Where's Kardi? Is she okay?"
"She's..stable right now. She's just down the hall."
"What happened to her?"
"She's in a drug induced coma -"
"When is she gonna wake up?"
"We are not sure right now, but she is stable, her vitals are good, and we wanted to know if you could let us know if you could give us the contact of the baby sitter?" He says opening a little note pad and clicking his pen.
"Baby sitter? For who?"
"Her child."
"Kardi doesn't have a kid."
"We have record of her delivering a child approximately six years ago."
"She never told me about no kid." I say.
"Does she have any direct family living in Las Angeles?"
"I don't know." I say.
"Well, I have a nurse come in and check your vitals and bring you some pain killers." He says scribbling on his page and walking out.
I put my head in my hand trying to think this whole thing over.
I couldn't believe that the girl who did my hair was Kardi Venezuela.
It didn't make sense.
She looked nothing like before.
She changed.
And she has a kid?
A six year old kid.
It was all hitting me so hard.
Another guy came in handing me a tiny glass of water and two little pills.
I took them and layed back.
I didn't like hospitals, always so depressing.
How is that Kardi?
Kardi was always such a flat girl, she had no chest, no ass.
And no she has a Kim Kardashian body.
It didn't make sense.
How was I supposed to know that was her?
I hadn't seen her in years.
Out all the people in the world, why was she the one that had to catch my eye on that day.
Hours passed and days went on before I was finally allowed to see her.
She was still asleep.
I sat beside her bed for every second I could.
I held her hand and just stared at her.
I wasn't gonna lie -- it hurt.
It hurt seeing her like this.
It hurt knowing she thought that I raped her.
It hurt knowing that if she didn't have the body she did -- I wouldn't have given her a second glance.
The days repeated, the thoughts repeated, and I never lost interest.
I never lost the emotions I felt walking in seeing her like this.
I never lost the emotions I felt that night six years ago.
And I never lost the emotions I felt when I heard the words 'you raped me' come from her mouth.

Emotional chapter I know.
But.

That's all that was going through my head when I was writing this.
