After leading an upset Lauren to the couch and making sure she was comfortable, Dinah makes her way into the kitchen to get her a drink.

She had no idea what happened at the police station; what caused her best friend to get this upset and distraught, and with Laurens current closed off demeanour that she was presenting, she doubts she was going to say it out loud and tell her either.

That was one thing that frustrated her about Lauren, her refusal to tell her things. She understood that sometimes people like to keep things to themselves; as they were either private or they weren't ready to be spoken out loud, but this was an all the time thing with her green eyed friend.

Bringing herself out of her thoughts, she picks up the coffee she had just made and walks back into the living room, a smile appearing on her face when she see's Camila contently nursing from her mother.

"Was she hungry?" She wonders, setting the coffee onto the coffee table before sitting down herself, making sure to stay at least a seat away from Lauren so she didn't feel over crowded.

Lauren nods her head, smiling softly, "yeah, her little tummy was growling. It's my fault though, I shouldn't have been away so long" she murmurs, gently running her fingers through her  baby's hair.

She has to admit she feels a little better now she has Camila in her arms, not as worried or hysterical. It was like she had some sort of magical power.

"It's not like you could help it Lo."

Dinah hesitates as she goes to ask the next part of her question, unsure on whether Lauren would be in the mood to answer it, "What did they want?" She wonders gently.

Surprisingly Lauren didn't hesitate to answer, shocking her slightly.

"They're still insisting I had something to do with Camila disappearance"

"But, I thought they were on your side with that?"

Lauren sighs, "that's what I thought. It's like they were just agreeing with me for the sake of getting me to tell them things. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they were never really on my side in the first place," she says, bending down to place a kiss onto her baby's head, smiling softly when the tiny girl grins at the touch. She wipes away the milk that falls down her chin before bringing her attention back to Dinah.

"This doesn't make any sense Lauren, she can't be on your side one day and against you the next. It's not professional"

"Don't you think I know that? It got to a point where I was red in the face trying to convince her it wasn't me, that I had nothing to do with anything, but it just seemed to fly over her head. It's evident she was never even on my side in the first place"

"Does that mean she believes your parents?" Dinah asks, her eyes wide.

Lauren sighs tearfully and shrugs her shoulders. She guesses the answer to Dinah's question would be a yes, but she doesn't think she could admit that out loud, not after everything Camila and herself has been through with them. She doesn't even know where she stands anymore, should she even bother trying to get justice? Or would that just be pointless considering she knew she whatever she says wouldn't be believed?

"I'm so sorry Lo"

She feels an arm rest over her shoulder and she once again sighs. She appreciates Dinah's attempt at comfort, but she just really wasn't in the mood.

"Well?" Clara asks as the police officer walks into the interrogation room, tugging restlessly against the handcuffs that were tightly fastened around her wrists.

Officer Cyrus sits down opposite her, placing her paperwork down onto the table.

"I'm sorry to say this Clara, but your daughters clearly innocent. I did what you told me to do and her reaction was just what I expected. She cares about that little girl more than life itself, and i think you know that too" the police officer explains, a not so sympathetic look on her face.

Clara feels her heart beating in her chest, it didn't work, Mike's stupid plan didn't fucking work!

"You appear to be a little distressed Miss Jauregui. Care to tell me why?" Officer Cyrus says with a subtle smirk.

"Fine, I'll admit it, there's no point hiding anything anymore if you obviously have it all figured out. Mike took Camila while I took Lauren down to get a drink. He was insistent with the fact she was too young and couldn't care for her properly, and as I was so far up his ass, I agreed with him. I knew the minute it happened I had made a mistake, but I couldn't exactly take it back"

Tears were now starting to fall down her cheeks.

"And all this time you kept her with you? While you played along with your daughter pretending she was still missing? I honestly don't know how you could to that to her. You let her think she was the reason for her disappearance, you let her believe she was to blame for something you and your husband caused."

Clara sniffles, "I know. It was a horri-"

"That was more than just a horrible thing to do. It was downright nasty and I honestly don't know how you live with yourself. I'll come get an officer to escort you back to your cell. If you know what's best for you, you'll cooperate from now on" Officer Cyrus says in a monotone voice before leaving the room, letting the door close loudly behind her.

"You know mama loves you right?" Lauren asks quietly as she lays on the bed next to Camila. She had actually put the girl to bed about an hour ago, but the green eyed girl couldn't build up the courage to leave her by herself, hence her place on the bed.

Camila nods her head at her mama's words, her tiny hand clutching the top of her mother's shirt

Camila nods her head at her mama's words, her tiny hand clutching the top of her mother's shirt.

"And no matter what happens, we'll always be together" Lauren adds quietly, her hand lightly patting the girls padded butt.

She felt it was important for Camila to know this, just in case they get separated again.

She knew the possibility of that happening was actually quite high, especially after that stupid interview with Officer Cyrus. She wanted to make sure Camila knew she would always be there, and that she would always love her whether they were together or apart.

Just the thought of losing her baby again breaks her heart and makes her want to do something stupid, but she has to be prepared for it, because it could happen, no matter how much she wishes differently.

She'd like to know why her parents were so desperate to destroy her emotionally, to take away one of the most important things in her life.

They had already done it once, was that not enough?

"Love mama too" her baby whispers, bringing her out of her thoughts.

Tearing up, Lauren places a gentle kiss on the girls head, "Thank you baby, that makes mama happy" she whispers.
