Chapter Four

Maddie's POV

The next morning I woke up much earlier than I expected. It was seven am, and since Magcon was the next day we all had a free day to do whatever we wanted. So why was I up.

I sighed, knowing that I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, and grabbed my phone. I checked my social media, replied to my Mom's text that she sent me while I was asleep last night and decided that I might as well get in the shower now, before everyone wakes up.

I walked over to my suitcase and rummaged through my already disorganized pile of clothes and picked an outfit out to wear. I just decided on a pair of leggings and my Magcon hoodie.

I showered fairly quickly, and by the time I was done I was no longer tired and feeling wide awake. I threw my hair up in a towel and slipped my outfit on. I took the towel out of my hair and brushed through my long brown hair before applying some heat protector and blow drying it. I'd fix it after if we do something.

Once my hair was dry, I went through my makeup bag and just put a bit of coverup and mascara on, then walked out of the bathroom.

"Finally," Matthew groaned, shutting off his phone and rolling out of bed. "What?" I said, curious to know why he was already so cranky. "You literally took forever in the bathroom, we all could've showered already." He said as he grabbed a change of clothes before proceeding to the bathroom and shutting the door a bit too loud.

"Sorry guys, I didn't know you were all awake yet, you could've went and knocked on the door." I told them as I was re-organizing my suitcase, sectioning it so I could separate my clean and dirty clothes.

"It's fine, Matthew was the only one that really cared." Carter said chuckling. I looked up and smiled at him as Taylor walked by, grabbing my butt, "I don't mind, you look good today girl." He said winking at me. I laughed and pushed him away. He was so weird sometimes.

By now Matthew was already out of the shower as Taylor strolled into the bathroom. "So what are you guys doing today?" I asked, grabbing my phone and checking my notifications. "I'm not sure yet, we'll probably talk about it at breakfast. Are you going to come with us or Jacobbbb?" Matthew started singing and laughing while skipping around the room. I started throwing pillows at him. "Shut up Matt, and I don't even know I guess it depends what you guys are doing."

"Well once everyone is ready we'll go downstairs and get some breakfast and talk about it." He said, throwing a pillow back at me. Taylor was now out and all we had to do was wait for Carter and we can go eat. I was starving. We were all mostly just on our phones when Carter finally came out and we could finally go eat. I slipped on my beige UGG boots and walked out into the hallway with the guys.

We took the elevator to the lobby and walked to a dining room that had a breakfast buffet in it. I piled my plate with lots of fruit, and a bagel with butter. I grabbed a coffee to drink, and went and sat beside Jacob, who was sitting at a table with Aaron, Dillon, and Mahogany. "Hey guys, goodmorning," I said with a smile before I began to eat. They returned back good mornings and we mostly didn't talk to each other because we were hungry I guess and just wanted to eat.

When we were all mostly finished and pretty full from eating so fast, Jacob turned to me. "So, what were you planning on doing today?" He asked me, making it obvious he wanted to hang out. "I don't know the guys are probably doing something stupid together and they said I could come with them if I wanted, why?" I asked, playing stupid with him. "Well I wanted to know if you wanted to go on our date today because Magcon starts tomorrow and we'll be pretty busy," He was saying, and starting to ramble so I cut him off saying, "Yeah that sounds great, what time and what should I wear?" "We can leave at around 1ish. Just dress casual you can even wear what you are wearing now, if you'd like." He replied with a small smile. "Sounds good, I'll meet you in the lobby at around quarter to one then?" I asked. He nodded and I decided to head upstairs and fix my hair and makeup since we had a little over two hours until we had to leave, it was about 10:45.

I started to walk upstairs when Matthew called me over. I walked over to his table that had him, Carter, and the Jacks seated all around it. "Where are you going?" Matthew asked, sounding confused. "I'm just going up to the room for a while, me and Jacob are going on our date today and I we're leaving at around one." "Ouuuuuu you and Jacobbbb," All the other guys chorused around me and I just rolled my eyes and told them to shutup. "Okay cool, see ya" Matt said. I gave him a quick side hug and practically skipped to the stairs. I was actually pretty excited.

Jacob's POV

I was so excited and anxious for this date with Maddie. It made me so happy that she gave me a chance and it's happening today and I'm anxious because I want her to like me but I think it will be perfect just because it's with her.

Me and the guys are still downstairs goofing off and hanging out and I'm just waiting until I get to leave. I told her 12:45 and it is almost 12:30 and I couldn't be more excited.

After the longest fifteen minutes of my life, I walked to the lobby so eagerly I thought I was going to explode from my happiness. I spotted her across the lobby and she looked gorgeous. She was wearing a pale blue long-sleeved shirt with black jeans and her hair curled perfectly and she was stunning. I was so lucky.

I walked over to her and she looked up with a big smile on her face. "You ready?"

Sort of a filler chapter but I wanted to get an update in. It's so busy with finals around the corner and stuff but I want to make the next chapter longer and a lot more interesting than my other ones,
