JINYOUNG'S POV
i was skipping towards the canteen, can't wait to see my boyfriend when suddenly i heard noises from the men's restroom while passing by.
as always curiosity takes over, i decided to take a look on what's the noise is all about.
peeking on the half opened door, my eyes widen, my jaw clenched in anger. it's like in those movies wherein you caught your lover having an affair with someone else.
my heart felt heavy, i felt weak out of a sudden. i bit my tongue, preventing myself from crying. i turned around making my way back.
unfortunately i made a noise, i accidentally kicked the door wide open.
i stood there as they pulled away from the kiss. i tilted my head at the side and smiled at them, tears strolling down my face.
i bowed before walking away, it was not like any other normal walk. it was like a half run and half walk, i just hoped daehwi can't catch up with me.
i snickered as the scene of daehwi and samuel kissing inside the men's restroom flashed back in my head.
i threw the pen i was holding across the hallways, making noises as it hit some lockers.
"dang it, why does it hurts?" i laughed and sobbed at the same time.
"jinyoung hyung!" i stopped on my tracks at the voice but then fasten my pace away from him.
i ran towards the place where i always feel safe. as soon as the door opened, she opened her arms for me and hugged her.
i was home.
i snuggled my face on her shoulder and sneaked my arms around her petite waist, "i thought he loves me?"
"shhh what happened?" she caressed my hair.
i sobbed, "i-i saw him kissing with someone else, mom. i saw it with my own eyes."
"i'm sure he has an explanation." she softly rubbed my back.
"how about you tell me what happened, hmm?" she ask me softly, i gave her a light nod as she leaded me towards the living room.
i told her what had happened and my chest somehow felt light. i was like feeling relief that i don't have to keep the problem by myself.
after i told her, she was frowning and tapping her chin. i was confused but decided not to ask.
"i've experienced this too, when me and your father were still dating in highschool. i was heading to the school gate because it was time to go home when i suddenly saw your dad kissing another girl at the gate. he was shocked that he saw me and pushed the girl a little. i did the same thing as you did, i ran away and end up crying on my mother's shoulder, she told me that 'you should listen to his explanation, i'm sure he has one. if you don't, it will cause a big misunderstanding. i won't force you to listen to him but it's the best way. listen what your heart says. listen honey, you're my girl and i want you to keep on following what makes you happy, okay?" with that i started to tear up again and decided to listen to his explanation. then there's no misunderstanding anymore. jinyoung honey, listen what your heart tells you, okay?" i nodded and hugged her.
"maybe i should just skip class for awhile, can i mom?"
She flashed me a warm smile and gave me a nod.
i went inside my room after giving her a peck on the cheeks.

i was heading to school, upon going inside the school hallway i could only see a few students.
of course there's only few, there's only 10 minutes left before class starts. i sighed as i thought.
i opened the door of our classroom without knocking, caughting all of their attention.
"ouuur mvp is baaaack!" the whole classroom cheered.
i bowed in greetings before i went to my sit which is behind daehwi.
in the corner of my eyes, i saw him looking at me as if i would do the first move but then just walked pass him and released a silent sigh.
i placed my backpack beside my desk and sat. i leaned my back on my seat with crossed arms and eyes closed.
i was just chilling when suddenly someone grabbed my hand and dragged me somewhere.
i didn't have to guess who it was, the only person who had the guts to pull a famous mvp soccer player like this is daehwi.
we stopped in a quiet hallway.
"jinyoung, please let me explain." i ran my fingers through my hair and pretended to glance at my wrist watch.
"6 minutes." i responded as a shaky sigh escaped from his mouth in response.
"yes, it was true that you saw us kissing-"
my shoulder went heavy upon hearing what he said and looked away, acting as if it didn't bother me that much.
fuck it's bothering me.
"but it's not like that, i was just waiting for you in the canteen with the others when suddenly i needed to pee, i told the other that i would be back. after doing my business, i was just washing my hands when suddenly someone pinned me in the wall and then he kissed me. i was so shocked that samuel was the one kissing me then you came. i pushed him after the situation sinked in. i chased after you but you ran away." he looked down without him knowing that it's pretty obvious he was crying.
i stayed silent, hiding my grin and also wanting to see what he'd react.
sobbing was then heard, "i-it's okay if you want to end this a-all." he stuttered, covering his face with his small hands.
"okay cool." i replied, trying to act chill. i was just playing along but of course i'm not ending it all.
i love him too much. i thought.
i turned my back at him, of course still in the act and was about to start walking when he hugged me from the back.
as expected. i smiled.
"i love you." i heard him mumble as he continued to snob on my back.
i removed his arms around my waist and turned to face him but he wasn't facing me, he was looking down all along.
i smirked and knelt down to level with his eyes, "i love you too."
his eyes then met mine, "w-what?"
i stood straight and looked away as if i said nothing and shrugged.
unexpectedly he pulled me by the collar and kissed me. i smiled and placed my hands on his small waist, kissing back.
we pulled away soon enough. i looked at him as i gave him a grin and he blushed.
"you made me fucking cry." he whispered as he punched me lightly on the chest.
"hey you made me cry too. you made the famous mvp soccer player cry like a baby, you made him weak." i started as he only looked down.
"and you're gonna pay for that." i added, he looked at me as i only gave him a wink and licked my lips before starting to walk back to the classroom.
"hey! what do you mean huh?" he caught up and wrapped his arms around my arm, leaning his head on it.
"you're coming with me in my condo later." i spoke and smirked.
