Here I was, at school with my best friends Loren and Harvey but they didn't really pay attention since they're dating

I cleared my throat making them stop kissing "did you guys even hear me?" I asked

Loren looked at Harvey then back at me "y-yeah, totally" she lied horribly

I just groaned and shut my locker "bye" I said and walked away. On my way to first period I ran into Aaron Melloul

He looked at me then smirked to his friends "hi" he said while fixing the sleeve of his letterman jacket

I scoffed and walked away but he ran after me

He walked beside me and smiled "c'mon Fallon" he sighed "i just want to talk" he said and I stopped in front of my classroom

I looked up at him and rolled my eyes "I don't want to talk, Aaron" I said and the warning bell went off "bye" I said and walked in the classroom

I walked to the back and sat next to Blake Gray he smiled at me then at his phone

He turned to face me and sighed "you look upset" he said

I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest "Aaron Melloul" I said and his eyebrow raised slightly "he wanted to 'talk' but I have no association with Mr. Popular" I said

He chuckled and shrugged "maybe he is actually interested" he said

I scoffed "yeah, and pigs can fly" I said and but my earbuds in

I sat at lunch with Harvey and Loren who were barely paying attention as always

I sighed as I seen Aaron and Luna talking he looked my way then put his arm around her making me roll my eyes

Loren looked then frowned "what's wrong?" She asked

I furrowed my brows and sighed "nothing" I said "i think imma go home" I said and stood up and left without saying bye

I was in my room then there was a knock on the door I ran down the steps and opened it

"Hey" the slightly tan boy said

I sighed and leaned against the door frame "hey, Aaron" I said

He gasped and let a breath of relief out "let's go we're going out" he said and I laughed "let's go"

"It's almost 1 in the morning" I said and he shrugged "fine" I said and walked up the stairs to get some shoes and my jacket then back down the stairs

He smiled at me as we walked to his car. We drove to a small field of sunflowers and we sat on the back of his car as we watched the fireflies light up and the stars made his pretty smile and eyes more visible

He looked into my eyes and smiled "You're really beautiful" he said

I sighed and shook my head "don't do that" I said

He raised an eyebrow "do what?" He questioned

I looked down at my feet "I came with you but you're still the Aaron Melloul that everyone loves and any girl would die to be with" I said

He shrugged "maybe I don't want them" he said

I looked up and into his eyes "that's right, you want Luna" I joked and he snorted "right?"

He nodded "definitely" he said sarcastically "in all seriousness though, you're different"

I raised an eyebrow as I messed with the petals of the sunflower "different?"

He nodded "a good different" he said and placed a hair behind my ear and started to lean in but I shoved him back "what?" He rolled his eyes

I scoffed and stood up "are you being serious now?" I asked "I saw a different side of you tonight but you messed that up" I said

He stood up and dusted his jeans "really?" He chuckled "I like you Fallon but I thought you were staring to feel the same way" he said

I rolled my eyes and walked to the passenger side "take me home" I said

He walked to the drivers side and got in. We drove silently until he spoke "so you feel the same?"

I shook my head with a slight forced laugh "I don't know you're a jerk one minute a sweetheart the next then a jerk again" i said

He sighed "fine then let me prove I ain't a jerk"

I raised a brow as we stopped in front of my house "maybe" I said before hopping out and running to my house and to the front door.
