"Mark," I began as I sat on the hood of his car with Joey on my other side

He hummed in response as he looked out at the night sky

"What're we all gonna do? Whoever it is, is a girl and she seems mad that I am around you two and I have to stay away from Aaron- I really fucking miss him" I sighed

Mark smiled at me and frowned, "I say you just go to him,"

I raised an eyebrow, "the messages s-"

"To stay away? I know, but you seem happy with him. Go get him" he said and Joey hummed as he nodded in agreement

"Yeah," Joey started. "Go get him", he smiled

I looked down at the ground from where I was on the hood and nodded, smiling brightly. "Take me to his house?"

Mark and Joey exchanged glances and smiled while nodding

-

I walked up to the door, hesitant to knock and before I could it swung open. A very, very tired looking Aaron answered

"Fallon," he squeaked out and giggled, "hi," he slurred

"Are you drunk?" I asked and scoffed in disbelief. "C'mon" I sighed as I grabbed his hand and drug him up the steps

"Whoa" he smirked as he went to grab me and pull me down. "Lay down, babe"

I sighed as I shook my head, "you need rest and when you sober up call me"

He smirked and then layed back down, "why'd you come here?"

I rolled my eyes and stood up, "I'll talk to you when you're gonna be able to remember this talk"

He pouted and i waved my hand dismissively as I walked to the door, "bye," I said as I closed the door and made my way out of the house

-

"He was drunk?" Joey asked in bewilderment and then laughed without any humor in it. "So much for wanting to make up"

I nodded as I rubbed my temples. "I should've just went with y'all and not go there"

Joey rubbed my back soothingly, "I'm sure he'll-"

Before he could finish my phone rang. I grabbed and answered without looking at it with a curt, "hello?"

The person on the end laughed and sighed, "it's me"

I bit my lip because no matter how irritated I was also very happy, "Hey, Aaron"

Joey looked at me and gaped and put his thumbs up. He mouthed, 'keeper'

I rolled my eyes and sighed, "what's up?"

Aaron cleared his throat and I heard shuffling. "I just-just wanted to talk to you" he mumbled. "I miss you and-"

"I miss you, too" I interrupted. "I'm sorry, I was scared and wasn't sure if it would protect your well being or mine"

Aaron laughed and you could practically hear his smile as he spoke. "How 'bout a date?"

I smirked and sat up, "a date? When?"

He chuckled, "tomorrow, 7:30"

I laughed and nodded, even if he can't see me. "sure,"

"See ya then" he spoke softly.
