Oh wow, an update? This is absolutely astonishing isn't it? I have been so caught up in life I've completely forgotten about this but I got a notification for this book today and realized I haven't updated in months...

Point of views. That'll be today's update, it is quick and easy and also a great way to get back into writing my tip book.

So when you're about to write your first story on wattpad you first have to consider the point of view it will be in. Your options are
First person
Second person
Third person limited/omniscient

First person POV is basically in the character's point of view where "me","my","I" and all those sorts of words are used. This is one of the more restrictive point of views to write in and these are usually seen mostly in YA fiction.

Second person POV is where 'you' is used. This is the most restrictive POV to write in since it only portrays what "you" are doing, feeling, or even seeing. This is often used in character x reader books on Wattpad and I do not think I've ever really seen a published work feature this style.

Third person LIMITED POV is when the story focusses on one character but sticks with using "him" or "her" or even "they" pronouns to tell the story from and outside narrator's viewpoint and this is usually the most reliable storytelling format.

Third person OMNISCIENT POV is when you tell a story BuT you can see into the entire cast's mind. You can understand what one character is thinking while another one is being portrayed as suspicious of said character. This is a popular way of storytelling.

When you're choosing a writing style you should consider your level of writing you are at before you settle for one. If you are a beginner I would start with first person POV so that you could get a handle on being able to write about one character at a time and from there you can try third person if you believe you can. Third person POV, in my opinion, is the best way of storytelling there is because you can really just evolve the world and the characters of your story so much easier than what you could with first person or second person since it isn't as restrictive.

I'm not entirely sure if this was helpful or not since I'm not used to doing this anymore so leave your own takes in the comments so others can see as well because I always leave stuff out by mistake.

Have a great night/day
