Sans snuck into the kitchen at 3:00 am to grab a snack. He has a big problem with stress eating, and right now he was stressing because Stella did not reply to his S.O.S. Message. He knew it probably wasn't a big deal, but he was worried anyways. What if what's-his face got to her before she got my message? What if her phone was dead and now she's in danger? He tried to push the thoughts out of his head by searching for food.
He was about to grab some left over Grillby's when he felt an arm on his shoulder. He looked to the left to see Lilly.
"Whatcha doing?" She asked looking into the fridge.
"Getting something to eat. Can't sleep."
He noticed her arm was still on his shoulder.
"Ya know your shorter than me, right? It makes more sense when one is taller than the other," Sans joked.
"Hush."
Sans chuckled at her.
     "Anyways, what's keeping you up?"
     "Nothing, just woke up."
"And you got mad at me for avoiding questions, what's wrong?"
"Stella didn't reply to my message about that dude, that's all."
"Aww, look at Sans. Worrying about others," She teased, "I'm sure she's ok, you know Stella she's always busy. She was probably working on something when you texted her."
"Yeah, you're probably right. Stell can handle herself."
"Are you even hungry? You know stress eating is bad right?"
"Hey, you said skeletons can't gain weight."
The two dorks laughed, trying not to wake up Papyrus.
"You know, instead of eating Grillby's we could share an ice-cream instead, it takes up less room. There are only two so I was thinking we should save the other for paps," Lilly insisted.
"Sure, why not? I'm already awake."
"Do you like Mythbusters? We could watch that for a bit until your mind relaxes," she asked as she grabbed two spoons and the pint of ice-cream.
"Yeah, that's 'cool'," he joked.
The two laughed at these n'ice'ly made puns once again.
After a few episodes, Lilly decided to ask something that was really bothering her.
"I just wish I knew what he meant by me having 'magic' and 'powers' other than the ones I know," She said defeated, "I know I can respawn and reset, but those aren't really magic. I mean they are technically powers, but not by the definition of what he was saying."
Lilly noticed Sans had already taken four spoonfuls of ice-cream by the time she finished her rant.
"Hey! Slow down, I want some ice-cream too," she laughed.
"Ya snooze ya lose."
She screwed the lid onto to pint of ice-cream to stop Sans from eating it all.
"Really Sans, what if I have other powers!" She said excitedly, "like teleportation or something! Or the thing where you move things with your mind!"
     "Telekinesis?"
     "Yeah, that!"
"Well you wouldn't need those because I have both anyways," He winked.
"Aww, come on Sans. Wouldn't me having powers be cool?"
"Sure, kid. Just don't get your hopes up," he said as he reached for the ice-cream.
"Oh, sorry." She opened the ice-cream again so Sans could have some.
Lilly shivered and looked down at the ice-cream.
"Why are we eating this? It's cold in here."
"I can get some blankets," Sans responded, "it would be more comfortable anyways."
     "Really? Thanks!"
As the two bundled up in blankets and finished their ice-cream, Lilly could tell Sans was slowly getting tired. Good she thought to herself, at least I know he isn't worried anymore.
After another episode of Mythbusters, Lilly realized Sans fell asleep. Great, now I can't move. That would be rude. She decided falling asleep herself was the only solution.
Unfortunately, being alone in her thoughts made Lilly worry about Stella as well. Is she really ok? I didn't want to worry Sans before but now I'm afraid too. Before she could talk herself into believing everything was ok, Lilly fell asleep.
