My life as a child is over now.
Every decision I make now is crucial.
Where my life goes, only I can choose.
My heart wants a path of pure romance,
while birds of blue brilliance
wants my path to journey elsewhere.
What do I do, who do I choose?
How can I choose between love and he birds.
My heart will split in two soon enough.
I would go great lengths to get my lover
into the comfort of my tiring arms,
but the birds' angry tune keeps me at bay.
Their song is the voice of reason,
while my lovers' song delivers
happiness,
strength,
wild romance.
My love will always be there to catch me,
but the birds fear whether he would be enough.
"I need him qnd he needs me," I say,
"I don't know what else I could ever need."
The birds tell me to choose; him or them.
Choices aren't easy to make.
If I choose him, the birds will abandon me,
if I say the birds, my heart will die.
Two choices weigh me down heavily.
