Shards (Written 4/4/10)

I love everything you do with me,

but what I found out today  does not please.

My heart, my soul does not clense to thee.

You broke my heart from the one piece.

You broke the glass of what I wanted us to be.

Shattered against the wall of my plee.

The least you could do was let me off easily,

but you cheated and lied and now you plead.

You want to be mine, but I still can't feed

any hurt and pain that you had let free.

Please tell me this truth will never be,

until I uncovered the same times three.

So many lies have cursed me

with the shards of pain in this tsunami.

You created an alternate destiny

from which you murdered the heart of the sea.

Tell me why you did this to me.

I cry for hours when I think of this fling.

Just let me die, drowning in shards uneasily,

I'll trust an other man faithfully.
