Christian shifted in his black wolf form as soon as he left the pack house, as his wolf took control, he followed his instincts and followed the scent to where their mate was staying.

Looking at her from afar, Christian tried to control his wolf from jumping to her room and claim her as his and complete their bond and be together. Knowing the things she can be capable of, the wolf was at bay.

Gently approaching the house, the door was opened revealing the parents of his mate. Loud voices were heard that made him step back and not continue what he planned to do with her father.

"...you two are being irrational, come back here!" He heard Kate's voice as she followed them outside.

"Did you see the way he looked at her?! I am not letting my daughter go with that animal!" Erick shouted as the wolf growled at his words.

How dare he talk to us like that. His wolf growled, but Christian tried to control him from tearing Erick apart.

"It's obvious what he is to her, Erick! Accept the facts that's rught in front of you!" That voice. It sounded so familiar.

"Are you listening to yourself, Laura?!" Laura? Erick turned around and faced his wife as he looked at her straightin the eyes. "Is that the reason we came back? Is really because of your sister?"

"Erick, I..." Laura trailed off and looked down.

"Ohmygod." Erick wiped his face with his hand and groaned.

Christian looked at the two as they went inside the car and drove off leaving Kate stunned at what happened.

"Alpha," his head turned to face her, "you can come out now, I can see you." Kate forced a smile.

Christian gently walked out of the bushes, still in his wolf form, as Kate bowed her head in respect.

"Is there reason why you're here at this time?" She asked.

Christian just looked at her and of couse, Kate knows why he's here.

"Maybe tomorrow?" Kate asked, and with that, Christian turned around and went back home, at least he saw his mate and that's what matters.

Christian stood in front of Kate's house and gently knocked. Beth was surprised when she saw him, with a frown on her face she tried to close the door but Christian's hand blocked it.

"Yes? Aunt Kate isn't here." Beth said and rolled her eyes.

"Huh, yeah, I'm not here for her." Christian nervously said and handed her some freshly picked daisies.

"Oh, wow." Beth chuckled nervously and accepted the flowers. "Did my aunt told you what my favorite—"

"Um no," Christian smiled. "I just figured that maybe—"

"Thank you, that was sweet of you."

"I'm sorry. Calling you a bitch was—"

"No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have—"

"Can we start all over again?" Christian asked and Beth nodded as she smiled at him.

They were quiet for a moment and realized they cut each other off so often. Beth was stunned at the sudden gesture, with the flower and the sudden smiled and chuckles.
