Ka Suo was conflicted. Right now, they were facing one of his most important people in his life as an enemy. "Grandma..." He uttered. "Did it have to be like this? We already defeated our own demons. Do we still have to fight you like this?"
"Ka Suo either defeat me or you won't go further than this!" Replied Feng Tian, attacking. Xing Jiu was already severely injured. The others were down.
Ka Suo clenched his fists. He didn't want to fight her. When she was about to attack again, though, a familiar sword cut through the air and her making her collapse.
"Grandma!" He quickly caught her. "Grandma?" He called out, checking on her.
"She's fine. Only unconscious." Huang Tuo said. "But..."
They then turned around looking at the deicide sword. It was glowing.
"Be careful. A new fairy was created once the sword tasted the blood of an immortal," Xing Jiu warned them, eyes fixed on the sword too.
Slowly, a small creature formed in front of them.
"YING KONG SHI!?" the group uttered in surprise. Ka Suo quickly went to them went he heard what they said.
"What's going on? I thought Li Luo eliminated all the deicide fairies," Liao Jian stated.
"She did. I don't feel anything besides King Shi's soul in it. A part of him must have resided in it and for some reason it's awake now." Xing Jiu answered.
"Wei, are you guys done chit-chatting?" the fairy said in a bored voice. He wasn't pleased that they woke him up.
"Shi..." one then called out, getting his attention. The one who had been quiet and was just looking at him a while ago. The fairy met his gaze in curiosity.
"Are you the one who woke me up?" he asked, tilting his head. "Did you prepare something tasty for me? What do you mean by Shi?"
"I think. Shi, don't you remember anything at all? I'm your brother." Ka Suo said with unshed tears in his eyes. He missed him so much.
"Ge? You?" repeated the fairy. Ka Suo nodded. The fairy covered his mouth, stifling a laugh.
"Ya, don't joke with me. How can a fairy like me have a brother?"
Ka Suo deflated at that it seems like he doesn't really remember him at all. Nonetheless he was happy to see him again.
On the side...
Hidden on the rocks was Yan Da, smiling happily as she watched the scene in front of her. She finally saw them both again, her kings.
"I miss you both... so much." She whispered, quickly hiding when the fairy looked in her direction. She smirked. She wanted to talk to him but not yet.
~Time Skip~
Yan Da sat on top of a big rock, watching the snow fall. A peaceful look in her face. She was glad that Ka Suo and the others had passed the test. Though with a price, granny wasn't an immortal anymore. She passed all of her powers to Ka Suo to ensure his safe return.
Yan Da snap her fingers creating a flame.
"Aren't you going to follow them?" Feng Tian asked from behind her.
"So, you noticed." She replied, standing up and facing the beloved grandmother of her husbands.
"I knew that you were following them since the beginning. Tell me, honestly. Are you here as the princess of the fire tribe or as the Queen of the Ice Tribe?"
Yan Da smiled. "Both." She replied, in front of Feng Tian.
"What is it?" the old woman asked.
The queen lifted her hand. "It'll hurt a bit but bear with it." Yan Da just said. She then let her energy flow. Her powers had become stronger, surpassing her father's and probably Shi's and Ka Suo's. It the result of her... unlocking her mind and abilities passed down by her mother.
Feng Tian gasped as she felt the strong energy that went inside her, restoring what was taken. Not long, she felt the familiar flow of her own energy inside her.
Seeing that it worked, Yan Da put down her hand. "Granny, go back to the forest of the ice tribe. I'm sure that Ka Suo and Shi would be happy to see you once they're back. I'll take my leave then."
"Be careful and I hope you'll tell Ka Suo and the others who you really are. They've been looking for you for months, wondering as to what happened to their friend and queen. I know that you have reasons but I just hope that you'll tell them the truth soon. They miss you."
Yan Da smiled sadly. "There's still a lot of things to be taken care of. Grandma, thank you for always being by their side." She told her before disappearing.
