Meetings and Discoveries

Two days had passed but Yan Da's unsettled feeling was still there. She already asked about her brother but the answer was the same. He's on a mission. A long one. However, she didn't believe her father. She knew her brother even if it's a long mission. He'd still sent messages. But nothing arrived.

There's one more thing that's bothering her. The new general of her father. Li Tian Jin. Where did he come from? Why is it that suddenly her father favored him? Treating him better than most. That made her suspicious and wary of him. She avoided him at all cost.

Sighing, she left the city of blaze city going to the mortal realm. It's already night in there but it thrilled her. She laughed as someone grabbed her from behind. "Ka Suo!"

The king chuckled, letting her go. He was in his human form. It's easier and safer for them that way. "I thought  that you weren't coming."

Yan Da snorted. "As if. Why would I miss a meeting with my king?" 

She then sat down under a maple tree. They're in a clearing filled with a lot of flowers and fruit bearing trees. Perfect for a night get away or a night date. Ka Suo smiled, sitting down beside her. "I missed you."

"Me too," she uttered, contently resting her head on his shoulder. "He's still not around?"

"No, Xing Jiu tried to find him through his dreams but he couldn't. Shi may have lost his memories."

Yan Da bit her lip, making it bleed. "I'll try to help and find him. Do you think he's in here, the mortal realm?"

"Possible." Ka Suo sighed. His eyes were filled of worry. "I hope that wherever he is that he's safe."

Yan Da chuckled. "Ying Kong Shi is a stubborn mule. I'm sure that he's fine. I trust that he'll survive no matter what."

Ka Suo laughed too. Indeed. Shi is stubborn.

Meanwhile, not far away from them...

Behind the rocks...

Li Tian Jin smirked as he watched the couple. The last few days, he tried his best to get the attention of the fire princess. To ask about Ka Suo... about his weakness. However, she evaded him like a plague.

The fire king told him that the current king of the ice tribe was the reason why he lost his father. Why he lost his memory and all? His eyes narrowed with hate. He would have his revenge.

His eyes glinted in malice. He thought that he'd still go through a lot to find that weakness when it was in front of him all along. Fire tribe's only princess, Yan Da. Ka Suo's secret lover.

He focused on those thoughts, ignoring the pain and longing he felt as he saw the two shared a passionate kiss.
