Seed of Suspicion

"I heard that Ka Suo is having a welcoming celebration," Tian Jin casually stated.

"You want to go?" Flame asked, putting down his cup. They're having breakfast together.

"Yes. The closer I am to him; the more information I can gather."

Flame nodded. "When are you planning to go?"

"After this." He replied, ending the conversation.

Tian Jin quietly looked around the Ice Kingdom. He had a bit of difficulty entering it but in the end with the help of the king he easily did.

Ka Suo was now touring him around. Currently, they're at the hall way. His eyes focused on the back of the king. His brother. According to Flame, the cause of his lost memory and the death of his dear father. His eyes narrowed but at the same time he could feel his heart yearn for him. To hug him tight but he quickly erased the thought.

He's only here to gather information and find answers to the questions that's been plaguing him ever since he saw Yan Da's memories of him, Ying Kong Shi. What is their relationship? Who is she to him? Did Ka Suo really betray him because he found out that they're not real brothers? And hated him for it?

He sighed.

"Is there something wrong?"

He blinked, looking at the king. "Sorry. I'm just a bit tired. I've been travelling for days."

Ka Suo smiled in understanding. "Then we should continue this later. Your room is already prepared by the servants. You can go and rest if you want to."

Tian Jin complied. He was really tired.

He was about to enter his room when a baby's cry got his attention. He frowned, looking around. One room was ajar. Silently, he entered it.

On a crib was a crying child. Tian Jin instinctively picked him up like a charm the baby stopped crying. The baby cooed, reaching out. Tian Jin let him. A small smile curved his lips.

The boy is beautiful. He didn't understand why but he felt happy by just holding him. Love and fondness filled his heart.

Meanwhile with Yan Da...

Yan Da was on the edge. It's been days and they still didn't find anything about Ying Kong Shi. She already looked everywhere in the mortal realm.

She sat down on the fallen tree beside her. Her familiar were trained to look for the impossible. She also gave them Shi's scent and other things that they needed to look for him. However, they all came back with no information. Her brows furrowed. That only meant one thing. She's looking in the wrong place. He is not in the mortal realm.

"If only Li Tian Jin is here..." She then heard a soldier say. Li Tian Jin. Her mind went to him, eyes narrowing. He's a mystery. He came out of nowhere. Her father couldn't tell her anything about him. Suspicion rose within her. Could it be?

"Hey, what do you mean by if only Li Tian Jin is here?" She then asked the soldiers.

"Your Highness, Li Tian Jin went to the ice kingdom."

"Father allowed him?"

"Yes, Your Highness."
