Start of the Journey

Months later...

Yan Da concentrated on the falling leaves. Accurately cutting them in half with her sword. She then twirled. Using her whip this time, cutting all of them in half.

An applause then made her stop.

"What do you want?" She asked not facing her brother.

"Father wants to see you, now."

She fixed her weapons. Once she was sure that she didn't forgot anything she left for the throne room. Flame was in there busy watching his generals fight.

"Father." she interrupted.

"Ah, Yan Da." He said, waving an arm to stop his soldiers. "I'm assigning you to a mission."

"What is it?"

"Our informant told me that Ka Suo would be going to another realm. The Sacred Snow Mountain to be exact to revive his brother."

Yan Da's interest perked up at that. In the months that she'd been there, in the fire tribe, she'd been missing her family- Ka Suo, Tian Xing, and Shi. She trained in order not to think about them much. However, in times that she really misses them, she would secretly sneak into the Ice kingdom. Either to see her son and Ka Suo or sit under Shi's cherry blossom tree.

"Revive Ying Kong Shi? How?"

"The legendary veiled lotus. It could bring back life and such." Her father answered. "Yan Da, do anything that you must to have it and bring it to me."

"Understood." She replied, leaving the Blaze City. When she's out there, a smirk curved her lips. As if she'll let her father have it. She would follow Ka Suo but only to assist him. She'd deal with her father later.

With Ka Suo...

He kissed Tian Xing's forehead before giving him to his mother and father.

"Ka Suo, be careful." The former ice queen said, giving her son a worried smile.

"Don't worry mother. Xing Jiu, Huang Tuo and the others are with me. I'll leave Tian Xing and the kingdom in your care while I'm gone."

His parents nodded, wishing him good luck.

They followed him with their worried gaze. Chen Tong especially. Though her son still smiles, she noticed the sadness and lost in his eyes. He did his role well as a father and a good king. However, he wasn't the same as he was before. Her son was broken. She just hopes that by bringing Ying Kong Shi back. It would help ease the pain that her son was feeling.

"Are you guys ready?" Ka Suo asked at his friends. Xing Jiu, Luna, Huang Tuo, Liao Jian, Pian Feng and Chao Ya decided to go with him... Well more like insisted.

The group smiled at their king. "Always, Your Majesty."

They then left the borders, starting the journey that would test all of them.
