Dean loved the beach, everything about it. Today he found a new reason to like it, he got to meet a lot of new people like the girl Bonnie. He had never seen anyone so beautiful and her eyes, oh her eyes, he thought to himself, he could get caught up in them just like getting caught in the tide of the ocean. They were the same shade too. He and his little brother Joshua played catch like he had promised for a little while. it was getting late though and he knew he still had to get ready for coming to the beach later. He caught the football and yelled to his brother. "Hey buddy, let's get going. It's getting late."

"Aw, do we have to go now?" Josh replied to his brother.

"yes, I told mom I would have you home by 5."

Josh sighed, "fine let's go."

They grabbed what little belongings they had a started on their way home. Dean was glad that their family's apartment was so close to his favorite place on earth.

"My feet hurt," Josh complained.

"Maybe you should have worn shoes," Dean replied.

"It's hot out, are we almost home?"

Dean rolled his eyes and thought about hoe big of a complainer Josh was, "why don't you look for yourself," He replied sarcastically.

They were in front of their apartment building, "Finally!" Josh exclaimed. He ran off a head to their home. Dean walked slowly to apartment six, as he was walking he saw a blue board leaning on their neighbor's apartment. As he walked in to get ready, Dean wondered why the board looked so familiar. After grabbing his favorite blue hoodie, Dean went into the kitchen to get supplies for s'mores.

He was just about to walk out of the house when his mother yelled from the kitchen. "Dean, since you're leaving can you give this cake to our neighbors in apartment seven? They just moved in and the funniest thing happened." Dean walked into the kitchen. "The girl who lives there knocked on our door and I was wondering what she wanted, then she told me she had the wrong house. I pointed her in the right direction though. She had the most gorgeous eyes! You know, they kind of reminded me of the ocean." She laughed quietly.

Dean smiled, he thought his mom was the sweetest in the world. she thought everything was funny. "Okay, by mom, see you later." Dean walked out of the house with the cake in his hands.
