When we got off the plane we went to service desk to find a open hotel room. After searching we got one at the Super 8 down the road. Running over we barged in and got our room. Desiree put everything on her daddy's credit card. He has so much money he wouldn't even notice we used is.
Luke and I ran up to the room, but Desiree wanted to go find some new clothes since she didn't pack any. Luke and I got up to the room. It was beautiful. White sheets lie on top of the bed with red throw pillows. Gorgeous red curtains draped to the floor. Almost all of the wall over looking the city was window. It was spotless glass. I did by the window looking out. Luke came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. From his actions I could tell he's wanted to do that for a long time.
I spun around to face him and rested my head against his chest.
" Can I tell you something." I ponderd as we swayed back and forth.
" Definitely."
"Luke I've had a crush on you since third grade." He laughed a little,
"I've liked you since we were in daycare." I chuckled.
"you've liked me for 16 years. We were one, how do you remember these things?"
"My point exactly," He said, " I've liked you since before time."
It was moving,but all an act. Truth is he's only liked me since 5th grade. I know these things.
It was almost 4:00 pm so Luke and I dabbled down to the swimming pool. It was pretty packed so we squeezed in where we could. A half an hour went by and almost everyone had left to get ready for dinner. We sat in the hot tub for another hour until Desiree spotted us.
"I've been looking for you guys! I got us reservations at the Boutique ala Moana. It's very nice you'll like it I got you guys new clothes. it's fancy so let's go." She left the pool room. The elevators were all packed so we took the stairs. 5 flights to walk. On the third flight I stopped to take a breathe. Luke scooped me up with one arm across my back and the other supporting my thighs. As he walked I could feel his six pack get tighter. I had my arms around his neck. We got to the room and he carried me in. Desiree laughed for some reason, than shoved us in the bathroom with new clothes. In moments we changed and looked great. He had nice pants with a plaid button up shirt, which is what he usually wears. I had a pink dress that went to my knees.
The dinner was great, and expensive. So Desiree bought it. When we went back we all took showers, and went to bed. Desiree was up late trying to get a hold of Brian but failed. Luke and I shared a bed, and spent most of the night looking at each other. Finally we fell asleep, and the next day would be an adventure.
