I am seriously amazed that I still get notifications that people still read this story even though I uploaded the last part like... two years ago.

Anyway, since I am nice, here's a new chapter just for you people to enjoy

y/n = Your Name
y/r = Your Race

[Karliah]

It has been many moons since you left the Thieves Guild and all your friends behind, your heart ached at the lost feeling of belonging from time to time but you managed to stand this emotional pain with the knowledge, that you did the right thing.

Karliah would never hurt Gallus, let alone kill him, this was the only thing you were truly certain about as you entered an old dwarfen ruin.

While walking through the narrow hallways, always on your guard, every step well calculated, the female Dunmer once again came to your mind and how she acted all the time.

Carefree but smart, always smiling while showing you new techniques and explaining things to you you still didn't understand.

She was also the one that taught you about these ancient ruins and told you about all their treasures and hidden secrets. That was why you were here after all.

After all that happened in the past, people had little to nothing you could steal from them, now you were risking your life here to somehow make a living and keep on living.

"By the Gods... why are so many traps in these old ruins, and why do they all work..?" you mumbled under your breath, the silence was slowly but surely getting onto your nerves.

As you heard a nearly silent sound behind you, just as if somebody was readying an arrow with his bow, you quickly disappeared behind a wall, just in time.

The arrow found its way and hit the floor close to your feet, much closer than you would have liked it to hit in the first place.

While letting out silent curses, you pulled out your bow and readied it, your heart was pounding hard in your chest. You weren't the best archer but you would fight for your life sure enough.

Just as you wanted to step back out of the shadows and aim at your attacker, you heard an all too familiar voice call out for you.

"Y/N, I would have never thought you would sink so low as to hunt me down."

[Brynjolf]

Damn that Nord had a silver tongue and knew damn well how to play you. He got you to help him with one of his tasks and before you knew it you got invited into the shitplace he called the Thieves Guild.

In the past you were a lone wolf, leaving everyone behind was an easy task for you if it brought you profit, and now you were fighting with drunk maniacs in the underground to get to the Broken Bottle or however this embarrassment of a guild called it. As you slit the throat of your last victim you stretched out. Your leather armor hugged your figure perfectly, showing off all your advantaged and disadvantaged. It maybe had some cuts here and there but you would take care of that later if you found the time for it.

You pushed open the door that separated you from the official Thieves Guild and were greeted with a moldy smell and a puddle of water that smelled like a lot of old people died in it. While trying hard to not make a face of obvious displeasure, you made your way over to the bar, not minding the big, bear-like man that tried to hinder you from going inside and instead you sat down right next to the Nord with the dirty smirk and fire-red hair.

"I don't know why I even came here. This place is a shithole. The stories I heard about this place must all be made up for little kids, ain't they?" You took his bottle of Mead and chugged it down, the Gods knew you needed some alcohol after this hell of a trip down here.
