y/r = Your Race

[Karliah]

You were the newest recruit in the thief guild, meaning that you were the one who had to do the work no one else wanted to do, including robbing an old rusty necklace from a beggar who happened to have more money than you and shoving some people things that weren't theirs into their pockets. However, you made some money and you never complained as long as you got paid. One day you were assigned to steal something out of the Blue Palace, you travelled long until you finally reached your destination and when you arrived in Riften once again a week later or so, you got told that your guildmaster Gallus got killed by his little... Nightgale, how he used to call her.
The female Dunmer who you rarely talked to if it wasn't regarding any missions or tips she could give you, but even though everyone told you the same about her and Mercer even told you that he'd be ready to throw you out of the guild if you won't stop defending her in front of others you just... you couldn't believe that she'd ever murder her beloved Gallus.

You soon made up your mind and decided to leave the guild by yourself, since then you were marked as a traitor by Mercer and just took every opportunity you had to steal something to be able to continue live on.

You lost your wealth and everything you had besides that, but you only thought that you would be alright.

Because you knew by then what honour among thieves truly meant.

(Even though it didn't really help you right now)

[Brynjolf]

You were a happy little y/r right now as you strolled through Riften, your pockets were filled with the money you took from other people to give it to those who weren't as lucky as they were...

Meaning yourself.

Don't get me wrong, you did have money, but not even a single coin was truly earned by you but who cares?! You were always able to pay for something to eat and for a warm place to sleep at in the night... as long as you didn't steal food and just slept in some bed and just ran off before the rightful owner showed up.
Right as you were standing on the market, just observing an Argonian with full pockets with sparkling eyes, just making up a way to somehow steal all of his belongings without him noticing that you did so someone tapped your shoulder and thus ended your daydream of easy earned money. Guessing from the figure of the shadow that fell besides your own you guessed that a man was standing behind you.

"Hey there, you never bother with honest work, don't you lass/lad?" after you listened to the man's accusing you turned around and put up a sweet smile, almost to convince him of the complete opposite, although you could feel it somewhere in your gut that lying to that man wouldn't get you anywhere. Right in front of you was standing a red haired nord, and he seemed to be just as amused as you happened to be.
"Be careful Sir, firstly, my wealth is none of your business and secondly, would you happen to need something? Otherwise I will just continue with what I was doing," you answered, still with a smile plastered on your face you never liked it when someone happened to be able to read you so well like this man did.

"Of course, lass/lad, but first I'd like you to do something for me..."

great, now he was smiling in a weird way, and you immediately knew that you were probably trapped now.

[Rune]

You had every right to be proud of yourself.
You were the only daughter/son of a wealthy family, but you never bothered to care where your money came from, or more... the one from your parents, but the best was that whenever you wanted something, you immediately made sure that you would get it in the end.
