For the next thirty minutes, things seemed to go smoothly. At this point, we knew what we basically needed to do in order to stay safe. We monitored the cameras carefully to be sure where everything was and we only closed the doors if an animatronic was close by.
Their were still some instances where cameras were covered in static, but we knew what to do if this happened, we looked at every other camera and shined the light outside the doorways of the office. If the animatronic we were looking for was not in any of these locations, it must have been in the location with a camera covered in static.
However, as the night went on, me and Dillon noticed that animatronics were changing locations faster now. Before, each one would move and stay in one place for fifteen minutes before moving again. Now, the animatronics changed location every five minutes at most. Sometimes, they changed locations in even less time. Something wasn't right.
"Why are they changing location this fast now," Dillon asked.
"Close the left door, Chica is nearing us," I said.
Dillon did this right away. "Where are the others," he asked.
"I'm looking," I said. "It's getting hard to keep track of these guys now."
After scanning through every camera, I found Freddy Fazbear and Bonnie the rabbit.
"Freddy is in a party room and Bonnie is in a hallway," I said.
"Is Chica still out there," Dillon asked.
Suddenly there were three knocks on the door Dillon had just closed.
"That answers that," I said.
"They can't get past these doors," Dillon said.
"As long as have power," I replied.
"Wait a minute," Dillon began, "I thought you gave us enough power to last the rest of the night."
"I thought I did," I answered, "but I wasn't expecting the animatronics to become this active. Now we're opening and closing the doors rapidly. We're using more power than I originally anticipated."
I looked at the cameras some more.
"Chica's gone. You can open the door now," I told Dillon.
Dillon pushed the button to open the door and joined me at the computer. "I don't understand," he said, "why have they become this active?"
"If they are moving faster, they must be very vicious," I said recalling what the tape recorder told us.
"Why would they be so vicious now," Dillon asked.
"Maybe because they know we're here in the office and Freddy has seen both of us," I replied. "As the tape recorder mentioned, they see us as an exoskeleton without its costume on and want to stuff us into one. They must have gotten desperate to do this and really wanted to get into the office. Since we've done so well at keeping them out, we've probably angered them."
"Didn't the tape recorder also mention that when they get so vicious, they might want to kill us," Dillon asked.
I looked at him blankly.
"Oh man," Dillon said. "I am so quieting this job after this is over."
"My thoughts exactly," I replied.
We continued doing the best we could to see where each of the animatronics were, but this was so hard since they were changing locations rapidly. We always kept a watch on the rooms closer to the office to make sure nothing was approaching us, but we knew we couldn't hold out to much longer, especially with our rapid usage of power.
