Prologue

Mother.

She is said to be one of the most,  if not the most important people in your life. The woman you cannot live or be without, they say.

She brought you to this world. She is the one who stays by your side always, the one who is there in the good and bad times. She is the one who holds your hair while you vomit from the hangover -even though you better lie and say it was some spoiled food or you will be in trouble. She is the one who hugs you when your best friend stole your boyfriend, or when your got into a fight with your best friend for life. She is there when you get good grades to congratulate you. And she is there when you get crappy grades to yell at you to step it up.

At least, that is my case, since my father decided he wanted to live his life and that she and I were just an obstacle in his way.

No matter what the situation is, which the circumstances are, your mother is always with you. I can account to that.

Now, she found someone new and at the age of fifteen I have to let go of everything I have to move to a new place with her. Some might say that I am sacrificing my happiness for hers. And even if that is the case, I am more than willing to do so, as long as she gets what she deserves. She has been there for me for fifteen sensational years.

I have to do this for her.
