Chapter 15 (Bentley)

Bentley held on the bowl of supplies as Bubbles, his mother, worked on Sam. Bj brought Sam in and begged Bubbles to help her. Benjamin had to be held down before he murders someone, but Sam stayed by Bj's side. She couldn't move without him. Bentley smiled and glanced back at Bast, who was staring at them.

"Well I cleaned them up just fine. But I still think sleep is the best healer." Bubbles said.

Sam nodded.

"Can she stay here?" Bj asked.

Bubbles looked at him, "What?"

"Can Sam stay the night? Just for tonight. I mean, only if she wants too."

"Well. . . I'm alright with it as long she's okay with it."

Sam looked at Bj, Bentley noticed something between them. Like a mind chain, something that connects two people forever. Bentley knew that some people call it a red string of fate. He didn't see any colors but he can feel the minds connecting and they are hardest things to break.

"I need to call my parents, can I?" Sam asked.

Bubbles nodded. Sam looked at Bj, who smilef and told her that she can use his room. She walked to it, Bj grabbed Bentley's arm and brought him in the living room. The other four teens sat there and jumped up as soon they walked in the room.

"Alright, we need a game plan." Bj said.

"What?" Bartholomew asked.

"He wants us to beat up the goonies." Bentley said.

"No!" Beatrix exclaimed.

Bj crossed his arms, "Isn't our job to protect the people of Townsville?"

"Yeah, but beating up people isn't the way." Beatrix said.

"Then what should we do!" Bj yelled as he threw his arms in the air.

Bentley slapped his hand over Bj's mouth, "She's coming and she'll need to talk to you."

Everyone looked at him and Sam walked in. Bj took Bentley's hand off and walked to her. They walked out and Bentley looked at the teens. Bast pressed her lips together and someone knocked on the front door. Bartholomew rushed over and Python walked in. Bentley stared at him and heard Bast's pounding thoughts, all about Apollo.

"I need information." Bentley said.

"What?" Bartholomew asked.

"Apollo." Bentley said as Python snapped his head to him. "Apollo is after us. I may not be able to read his mind but I know that he's up to no good. Now why is he here?"

"Benny, calm down." Bartholomew said.

"Apollo worshipped Ethan. He loved the ground he walked on. Ethan was the motivation for Apollo." Python said.

"Now that we took him down. Apollo is going to take us down?" Benjamin asked.

Python nodded.

"Then we need to be on the lookout." Bast said.

Bentley walked in the school next to Beatrix, listening to her talk about Camilla. Bentley looked out and saw Maine, the boy with wild brown hair, walking to his lovker. Bentley blew out his cheeks and Beatrix looked at him.

"You wanna talk to him?" Beatrix asked.

"What?" Bentley said.

"That boy. You wanna talk to him. That's fine, I see Camilla at my locker."
