Chapter 31 [Death]

Ayame POV
I woke up. In a weird place. It was dark, the only light source was the fire that was lit up there. Where am I? What happened? That was when a flashback of Tobi stabbing me upon dying flashed through my head.

'That's right. I'm probably dead now.' I thought as I went up close and there I saw a figure.

"Who are you?" A silver haired man saw me and asked.

"Ayame Hatake, and you?" I said.

"A Hatake? Did Kakashi get married?" He said with a laugh.

"You wouldn't by any chance be Sakumo Hatake would you?" I said. I never really recognize the faces of heroic figures.

"Yes." He answered.

"To answer your question before, no dad did not get married. I was adopted, he took me in. Back then he really didn't want to but I think he got over it soon enough. Say, where is this place? Is this where all the dead people end up?"

"Yes. However there is still a chance of you to be saved if you don't enter the gates of the dead valley."

"Does that mean you can be saved too?" I said half excited. Dad would be so happy toknow that his father can be revived.

"No. I'm long dead. There's a time limit, if you stay dead more than a day you would never be able to return to the real world. One other reason would be that there is no jutsu that can revive one that has died for longer than a day."

I sat down on the log beside him. "Say grandpa, have you ever thought you would have a granddaughter?"

"Honestly, no."He said as he laughed slightly. "Kakashi didn't seem like the person to get a child. Tell me more about you."

"Since I have time, I suppose why not? I'm Ayame Hatake as I said before. My surname may be Hatake but I'm actually a Nakamura. The Nakamura posses the silver eye. They were possibly stronger than the Uchiha. But they all got slaughtered. I was saved by my parents, they handed me over to the third hokage who handed me to dad, your son. Well I'm currently 15 years old. I became genin at 6. Chunin at 6. Zabuza, one of the seven swordsmen of the mist gave me his seversword on a mission. He believed I could use it well. I became Jounin at 8. Anbu captain at 11. Every anbu worked well together under my command. None at all didn't work like I wanted them to. They were all afraid of me. Well that was what I was famous for. I left konoha after that. The village thinks I'm a rogue nin but that's actually not the case. I was on a mission. To join the akatsuki, a dangerous group that is hunting for all the nine tail beasts. I went as a spy for konoha. It was a mission with almost a garuntee that you won't make it back alive. However I went. That was we're I met Itachi, we became best friends and we were partners as well. One day the leader came to konoha to claim the nine tails. He destroyed the whole Konoha. I was nearby then, I saw. I panicked, I was worried for dad. He was very important to me. I rushed to him only to find him dead. That did it, it triggered me. I decided to kill every single one of them, since having them alive wouldn't do any good to the world as well. They're just going to complete a forbidden jutsu and if they do the world is over. I was planning to wait for the right timing to strike but that triggered me so I didn't wait I went straight for everyone. They were all scattered all over the place so it took a week. Itachi traveled with me the whole time. It was about after 1 and a half year of wandering around we thought of a good plan. To go to konoha as two different people. We were to disguise as Kimi and Miki. Me and Itachi became genin and were placed under dad's team with another genin called Michiya. Then one day I sent this letter to Lady Tsunade asking for a mission, a mission to send a letter. It was to lure him out, the last Akatsuki member, Tobi. It worked. During our fight, dad got stabbed while actingas a sheild for Itachi. Dad being stabbed on the battle field triggered my silver eye and it evolved. It's like a sharingan evolving into mangekyou sharingan. The ability of my eye is to turn back time so I did it back there unconsciously though. Then I passed out. It saved dad but it took a month for me to wake up. After that I went back to being Anbu captain. Tobi decided to appear thsi fine day. we fought him once more. I managed to defeat him but hestabbed me upondying and that would be why I'm here now." I said all at once.

"That actually was a long story. I'll help you, but only for this once. Help me tell Kakashi that I'm proud of him. Proud of everything he did."

My body started to glow and before I knew it granpa was vanishing.

"Good bye! It's nice knowing you! Thanks for your help!" I yelled. He gave me a warm smile as a reply.

Itachi POV
Ayame...we need you right now, please wake up!

When I got her back to konoha her heartbeat came back and she started breath again. That was the good news, but then the bad news came. Everyone was preparing for war. It seems that whie we were gone, Madara suddenly showed up and announced war. From what we know, Tobi was meant to die and kill Ayame or me upon dying as Madara can't face both of us at once, he'll undoubtly be defeated. Now that I'm the only one left, it might be an easy fight for Madara.
