"There are only two first-class tickets so Kylee, you can take Jay and sit there and we'll sit further down, okay?" Kira placed Jay in Kylee's arms and they boarded the plane.

Kylee struggled to balance her brother and bag in her arms but eventually succeeded and she took a seat by the window, setting Jay on the seat beside her.

As Kylee stared out the window at the rows of perfectly lined up planes, she suddenly felt a wave of sadness overcome her; she was leaving this place and probably wouldn't return for a very long time. She hadn't been in New York City for long, but she liked this place better than any of the other cities her Dad brought them to. They never stayed in one place for longer than a year, but she had a feeling that once they left the country they would be starting a new life. Maybe they could finally settle down, maybe her Dad could get a real job, maybe they could be safe.

But, alas, they were never truly safe, Kylee had established that a while ago.

"Can I sit here?" a voice awoke Kylee from her thoughts and she looked over to see a boy about her age with pale skin and even paler hair, his captivating blue-grey eyes boring into her's.

"Oh, yeah, go ahead." Kylee moved Jay so that he wasn't taking up the third seat, and motioned for the boy to sit. Then, she resumed her daydreaming about this new life in London.

"What's your name?" she broke off her stare once more to gaze at the boy sitting one seat away. For some reason, she felt a sudden urge to get closer to him, a random need to make their conversation private -a difficult feat to pull off on a full airplane. So, Kylee picked up her brother and switched seats so he could now look out the window, entranced in the stars outside.

"Kylee."

"Kylee. I like it. My name's Draco."

Kylee smiled to herself at the name. She quite liked it, the way it rolled off her tongue and the way it felt in her mouth. Similar to her brother's name, it brought her a sense of warmth. She had always found this odd; that a name brought her such a feeling, but she had grown to love it, as it helped her figure out if she could trust the person or not. She could trust Draco, she decided.

"Where do you live, Kylee?"

"Here. Well, not anymore. We're moving to London. Or somewhere near there. I'm not sure where, exactly. It was a bit of a last-minute thing on my Dad's part."

"Ah. I live near there. Wiltshire. I love your accent, by the way." Draco stared at Kylee as though every little detail about her intrigued him. He had just met her, and she had just met him, but they both knew they wanted to know each other forever. She laughed and it was the most beautiful thing he'd heard, like a soft chuckle that made him want to tell her every joke in the world just to hear it again. Although, maybe that was the whiskey he had shared with his Father speaking.

"I was just thinking the same thing about your's." Kylee smiled, a real genuine smile that she usually only reserved for her family.

"Thanks"

And just like that, the conversation ended, the two of them were plunged into silence. It wasn't awkward, it was quite comfortable and Kylee liked it this way. She could watch him -as creepy as that sounded- and observe him, picking out her favourite parts. She wished she could whip out her phone and take a picture to carry with her wherever. But, that would be borderline stalking and as much as she wanted to capture his essence, she did not want to be a stalker. So far, her favourite parts were his eyes and his smile. Those were the most cheesy and cliche things ever, but it was so true. Eyes were always her second favourite thing of a person, their name was first, and it was because they either held so much emotion or none at all. As many say, Kylee believed the eyes were the windows to the soul. Some people were so easy to read and you could tell exactly what they were feeling or thinking just by looking at their eyes, while others were more closed off, reserving their true thoughts for just themselves.

Draco was one of those people. No matter how long Kylee tried to decipher the metaphorical words written in his irises, she just could not. But it was still fun to try, and the colour was so amazing, too; the perfect blend of icy blue and steely grey, spots of darker blues and faint greens were flecked in his eyes like paint splatters on a canvas.

All too soon, the plane landed and people started lining up to get off.

"Draco, grab your things, let's get off this dingy contraption." a man Kylee assumed to be Draco's father spoke, accompanied by a woman who could only be his wife and Draco's mother. "I still don't understand why you wanted to go home this way, Narcissa." he peered over at his wife, nose upturned as though the mere thought of being surrounded by strangers on a cramped flying device disgusted him. Draco's family, Kylee gathered, were most-likely a well-off family; wealthy and not accustomed to common ways.

Narcissa answered, her voice raised to a defensive pitch "I wanted to get the full experience, Lucius, you know that!" Lucius sighed and beckoned once more, for Draco to stand and follow them.

"I hope to see you again, soon" Draco waved at Kylee, sharing one last smile, and walked off with his parents.

"Well that was interesting, hmm Jay?" the baby merely blinked up at her.
