Chapter 1: Reunited? I Don't Think So

Being reunited with the people you love is an amazing feeling. Leaving the people that mean the most to you behind really hurts. But in order to save the planet, Keith and Lance had a good reason to leave their families behind.

'Space. Beautiful but deadly. One wrong move and your dead' Lance kept telling himself. He and Keith were on their way back to the castle when that quote interrupted his train of thought.

"-nce... -ance... LANCE!!"

Lance shot up from his seat and looked around. He was still in his lion. Still with Keith.

"Uh.. y-yeah? What's wrong?" He replied, not wanting the already angry Japanese man to yell at him.

"Jeez, when will you stop daydreaming? What are you? 5? Like I said, we're almost there,"

"O-oh! Thanks for the heads up,"

"Yeah yeah, whatever,"

With that, it was dead silent. They wanted to talk to each other but they didn't know how to start the conversation. Pretty awkward. They stayed silent until they saw the castle in view. It was just floating there. It didn't have the forcefield on or anything.

'Weird' They both thought

They parked their lions in their rooms and started to walk to were they thought the others would be. They didn't hear any talking or laughing at all.

They walked all around the castle and they still couldn't find them. They weren't in the training room, not in their bedrooms, not the kitchen, nothing!! Their lions were in their places... were could the others be?

"What if..... what if they got captured?" Keith whispered. Lance looked at him from the corner of his eye.

"What would make you think that?" Lance said, crossing his arms over his chest. He really didn't want to admit that Keith might be right.

"Are you that stupid?! Their lions are here but their not! Not anywhere to be seen in the castle! And you tell me what would make me think that?! Try not to be stupid for once and think with that brain of yours!!" Keith shouted, his words echoing off the walls.

"Ok, I'm really not in the mood to argue with you Kieth but what if they're fine? What if...... w-what if...,"

"What if what Lance?! What if they're being tortured?? What if they're being held captive?? What if they're being used against their will?!"

"BUT WHAT IF THEY'RE NOT?!"

"BUT WHAT IF THEY ARE?!"

Here we go again. More arguing. More disagreements. More hateful words. More crying.

This is not how Keith and Lance wanted to come back to the castle. They just wanted to be reunited with their friends. But I guess the universe just has to disagree and make their lives miserable.

They kept fighting until what felt like hours when out of the corner of his eye, Keith found a piece of paper on the floor. He walked away from the argument and picked it up.

"HEY!! I'M NOT DONE HERE!!" Lance yelled. Keith still kept walking away with the note in his hand. He soon, not even noticing, started sprinting away from Lance, clutching the note in his hand.

"KEITH!! GET BACK HERE!! WE STILL NEED TO FINISH YOU PUTA!!"

But Kieth kept on running. He didn't care what hateful words threw at him. He didn't care what insults he threw at him.

"YOU'RE A COWARD!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I DATED YOU!!" Lance said as he stopped running. Keith still kept running. He didn't realize that tears were running down his face.

About 10 minutes later, Keith found the perfect place to hide. Inside his lion. He sat in his seat and covered his face with his hands.

"Wow... ok that really hurt, I gotta admit...," Keith whispered as the tears kept coming.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid..." Keith kept repeating to himself, hitting himself in the head. After a few minutes, he looked at the note crumbled up in his hands.
