"What happened last night?! Girl, let me know--"

"For the hundredth time," finally freeing myself of Soon's arms that were latching onto me, "Nothing happened!"

"I have another game in a couple of days!"

"So?"

"Did you not remember, eomma? You'll be watching all my games."

"I have a life and I'd rather--"

"Great, I'll pick you up at the bar. 6 o'clock sharp and wear something nice."

Soon waved her hand over me when she realised I was non-responsive, "Are you sure, unnie?"

I blinked and gave her a small smile, "..Yes, nothing out of the ordinary."

Lies!Lies!

She pouted when I denied once more, "Then tell me what happened--"

"Noona!"

Both of us turned, to see the young heart surgeon, "Kim Taehyung...did my lil sis drag you here again?"

He gave me a small smile in return and a short nod to Soon, who was internally dying from being acknowledged by one of the infamous seven hot men, "No, our boss gave her a longer shift than usual. I'm here alone."

"Is there something you need?" I swayed my head to the side, confused on his sudden arrival.

"I wanted to apologise for my behaviour... I hope I did not do anything wild when I was drunk..." scratching his neck in guilt, I could tell from his words that he really meant it.

What should I say..?!

"You were nothing like the dark devil, an absolute angel."

He gave me a tight lip smile and continued, "What happened...exactly?"

"You don't remember?"

"Not one bit," Taehyung shook his head slowly, furrowing his eyebrows even more.

Ah...just as I thought..

"You don't have to worry about anything," I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Are you sure? Every time I approach your sister, she stutters and turns red all of a sudden. Then, she immediately busies herself and runs away from me. Is she...mad at me?"

She was never good at hiding her feelings ever since she was a kid

"Being in the medical field, especially when she chose to be on the ER late night shifts, it must be hard on her. Give her time, she'll come around to you."

It wasn't a lie, for a couple of days, I've seen my sister trying to compensate for her lack of sleep. I would see her dozing off when she was studying, during times like that, I would pick her up and put her to bed. Eyebags started forming prominently below her eyes and she would yawn even more. Despite that, I can tell she was passionate, wanting to become a nurse and enjoying her internship to the fullest.
