"Just one second," my eyes quickly darted to the room, only to lock eyes to the familiar tall figure, "Seongi, deal with these four for a sec, will you?"

He looked towards the source of the sound, only to lay his eyes upon me. Seongi walked towards me and quietly nodded, "I'll handle it, don't worry, noona."

I nodded and made my way to the young girl that asked for my attention, "Yes, can I help you?"

She turned her back from me, wearing a simple brown jacket and black pants with matching coloured flats. She had her hair up in a ponytail, slinging on a grey messenger bag. Her sharp eyes stared at me back but her lips graced a small smile towards me, "My name is Miss Choi and I'd like to apply to work as a bartender please."

Wow...this is, perfect timing!

"Oh! Then, let's go somewhere more secluded and quiet."

She followed me closely from behind, taking the surroundings around her. I decided to go to the staff's room, knowing that was the only place I could get some solitude and peace. I walked towards a chair, as she sat on the one opposite of mine.

"Did you bring a resume?"

She opened her bag and found it, handing it to me, "Here you go, ma'am."

"Are you familiar with this kind of work?" I asked, looking at every detail of writing.

"Well, I used to work as a barista before but I didn't serve or touch any alcoholic drinks since I wasn't of legal age."

Huh..she did just turned 20 after all..

My eyes perked in interest at the new information, "You're currently enrolled in Yong In University? Martial arts?"

"Yes, Taekwondo, to be exact."

"When did you start doing Taekwondo?" I asked.

"I started at the age of 7, for personal reasons.."

"That's a long time..13 years, you're very committed. Black belt?"

"Black belt," she repeated my words, confirming my words.

Hm..an employee that knows how to swing a punch? That's definitely a plus--

"Yeona Choi, right?"

She nodded slowly, anticipating what I was going to say next.

"Well, can you start right now?"

"Now?" She asked, surprised was evident in her voice.

"Well, if you're up for it, I understand if that's--"

"I'll do it."

"From your request...I'll have you start on Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays. That's a lot...are you sure? You have classes, don't you?"

Yeona shook her head, "It's fine, really. I'm currently taking on two other part time jobs, I work as a cashier for a convenience store nearby the area, I have shifts on Monday and Wednesday. I also work as a waiter at the Coffee Apple Cafe on Fridays and Wednesdays."

"Ah..you must get exhausted a lot..only not working on Sunday. We'll talk more about your shifts later, ok?"

I put the resume down, and stood up, "Well, you'll mostly be by my side as I'll mentor you and show you the ropes. Since you have no experience towards making drinks or the business..I'll have to teach you from the very beginning...will it be alright if I pair you up with somebody else for your first day? Right now..I have a lot to juggle on my plate."
