The sudden noise interrupted us, indicating the game has just started."Hoseok?" a grin started to form in my lips, "What a lovely surprise!"
Finally, a ray of hope after having to deal with that salty boy!
"This is a first," He nodded in agreement, "Seeing you wearing something else than a white blouse and black business pants."
"Oh, yeah. I..wanted to go a bit more casual." I still had the grey baseball hat on, my brown hair in a ponytail. I was wearing a loose blue t-shirt that was tugged in black leggings and wedges to compliment my look.
"Suga scored the first point, starting the game off with an intense start!"
"You look nice, noona," he complimented me.
"Thank you, Hoseok. I didn't know you were interested in basketball."
He chuckled, "It's more of a birthday gift from a colleague of mine. I thought I should just go, there's no harm in coming, right?"
That's what I thought at first but my night's been a ship wreck!
"Thailand is not letting them have it, shooting a three pointer immediately!"
"It's my first time watching a game not from my TV screen. It's..a different experience," I grinned a bit when I saw Suga frowned but immediately picking up his pace.
"Are you into basketball or sports, noona?" Hoseok asked curiously.
"I played basketball for a couple of years, I even continued it during my university days. I just play it for fun now."
"You must be good then.."
"Again, Korea earns another point!"
"I don't think I'd play professionally, I just...I don't know," my eyes shifted a bit from the game, I stopped my words before continuing, "I can't picture a future with it...so I ran away...like the dribbling ball that lands on the floor after I tried shooting.."
"First quarters are finish!"
"Right now, you're doing great things, right? Even as a bar attendant, you get to meet all kinds of people in your life. You're also happy with what you're doing. I think...you didn't make the wrong choice, you just followed your heart."
"Hoseok..." giving him a genuine smile, "I can see why people go to you...You're really great with what you do."
"I'd say the same for you, noona."
Our little heart to heart talk was interrupted, when Suga looked at the two of us and sauntered over, "Did you see me?"
My eyes shifted at him, giving him a bored look, "Hm?"
Suga's annoyed features were stamped across until his sight was met by Hoseok.
"You look really familiar.. Like I've seen you somewhere..?"
"Wait, you know each other?" I questioned, as I felt de ja vu for some odd reason.
"No..? Maybe it's coincidental?" Hoseok shrugged his shoulders, "It feels like I do, but at the same time, I don't.. It's hard to explain.."
It's like I live in an Alternate Universe..!
My thought process were interrupted by Suga's whiny vocals--
"Ya! Why aren't you saying anything? Are you speechless seeing my skills?"
"Ya?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow towards him, "I'm older than you, minty boy."
