Sa pag-aaral ng isang language. Yung grammar part siguro ang pinaka-boring. Pero kaylangan. So sorry!
1) ADJECTIVES
An adjective is a word that modifies a noun by describing it in some way: shape, color, size, etc.
Ang French Adjectives ay naiiba sa English Adjectives sa dalawang aspects:
1. Ang French adjectives ay nag-iiba, dipende sa GENDER and NUMBER ng noun, so ibig sabihin na there can be up to four forms of each adjective:
Example:
Adjective: joli (pretty)
BY GENDER:
- Masculine singular joli
- Feminine singular joliePag Feminine Form idadagdag lang ang letter -E sa huli ng Masculine form.
In case na may -E na ang adjective sa Masculine form, ibig sabihin, pareho ang masculine at feminine formBY NUMBER:
- Masculine plural jolis
- Feminine plural joliesUsually, to form the plural adjectives dadagdagan lang ng -S.
"Pero may mga adjectives na iba ang letra na idadagdag para maging plural or feminine, ayun ay dipende kung paano natatapos ang word."
Mahirap intindihin at hindi ko rin maiexplain ng ayos kaya gagawa ako ng example.
Most French adjectives are regular, but there are a number of irregular adjectives, based on the final letter(s) of the masculine singular adjective.
1- Adjectives that end in a vowel plus -L or -N usually become feminine by doubling the consonant bago idagdag ang -E.
Example of Adjective ending in -L
