Natsu POV

          The entire guild was pissed off. The council had just ordered everyone to stop investigating Lucy's death and what happened with Blue Pegasus. Everything that involved Lucy is off limits to everyone in all guilds. Master said to leave it be for now and we'll operate from the shadows. So it'll mainly be Gajeel working the information section. The rest of us were to look into the death of a family on the outskirts of Magnolia. The officials say it may have been an animal, but a lone impression on a forearm has an impression of human teeth.

      "Man, someone went cannibal was it you Natsu!?" Someone shouted causing a few to laugh.

      "Like hell was it me!" I yell back and Gray smirks.

      "Hey I head if you cook it right the flesh tastes like chicken." He said and everyone just stared at him. "I come from the North! Food shortages were not uncommon when there were bad blizzards and the towns get cut off for a long time. People get desperate." He huffs.

       "Well on that note I want Gray supervised and away from this investigation." Gramps says causing a few laughs.

       "The local authorities are in charge of the investigation, but as it is close to our guild we'll be stepping in as well. Do what they ask and help as much as you can." Laxus pipes in from his perch on the second floor.

       "Laxus will be leading our side of the investigation. His team along with a few volunteers will be working. I don't want too many of you down there. Remember this is voluntary and that means there won't be pay." Gramps says causing some groans. A few step forward such as Levy, Bisca, Alzack, Wendy, and Elfman.

       "Wendy, I don't you to go." I say as I grab her shoulder gently. She looks up at me curiously.

       "Why, maybe someone will get hurt or need another sense of smell to locate something or someone?" She says and I nod in agreement.
 
       "If that is the case I will go, but you don't need to see that murder site and that is where they will take you. It's bad Wendy." I say and she shakes her head.

       "I'll just pretend that their sleeping." She says innocently and I shake my head.

      "It's worse than that Wendy. They were completely torn apart. I agree with Natsu you should not go anywhere near there. Romeo's help has been rejected as well go on a mission with him. The investigation will be long and it is without pay so other guild members are taking jobs to help the ones on the investigation. It will help them alot that is why I'm am leaving on an S-Class mission. You and Romeo should take some around the North part of the city. If you leave take the northern exit or west train." Erza says and Wendy nods.

        "Alright." She says though it is tinged with a small whine. I smile before watching her run off to Romeo.

        "She has good intentions." Erza says and I nod.

        "Yeah, but I don't want her or Romeo to have nightmares." I say and she nods.
   
       "I agree, but step outside with me." She says and I curiously follow her out to the back of the guild.

        "Erza?" I question as she slumps down onto a large rock.

        "I- how do you deal with the nightmares? It would seem that I have forgotten how." She asks calmly, but I can see the tears that threatened to fall. I walk over and sit down on a smaller rock.

       "I don't really. I just try to forget them or remember when I brought her here and our other missions together. Or that time when we were on Edolas and she was locked in the clothing thing." I say with a dry laugh. Lucy had been so furious it was funny. Until she put me in it.
