Third POV

Lucy yawned as she opened her eyes. It was dawn and she was cold. She noticed her surroundings and gasped. She was in the river again! This time thankfully she was laying half in it and mostly on the bank. She gets up and walks inside.

"This is crazy. Of all places to pass out. Uh, I must've went fishing judgeing from the taste in my mouth. I must've decided against the ice cream." She mutters to herself as she peels her wet clothes off and gets in the shower. When her body is clean, after carefully cleaning the wounds that still hurt after getting soap in them, she climbed out and got into some of her own clothes from the room that Natsu gave her. It was large enough to hold all of her belongings from the apartment. She throws her wet clothes into the washer. She heard rustling upstairs so she headed into the kitchen to cook breakfast.

Erza POV

"Another dead body!?" I yell and Laxus nods.

"Found this morning by one of his clients. Apparently he was a drug dealer." He says and I place my hands on my hips.

"Maybe he was killed by a rival dealer?" I suggest and he shakes his head.

"Nope this one was eaten too." He says.

"Ugh. That's just gross." Cana huffs as she slouches in her barstool and across the bar top. "It's too early in the morning for this." She says as she grabs a barrel before Mira takes it.

"No Cana we need you sober. Maybe your cards can help." Mira says and Cana whines.

"Why can't mister sniffy over there help!?" She heavily whines and Laxus gains a tick mark.

"Because all I smelled was decay! This dude must live in a cemetery or something!" Laxus huffs already pissed off.

"Ugh, fine." She whines as she shuffles her deck. One by one the cards fall in order. Her expression goes from bored to scared.

"Cana?" Erza asks and Cana shivers.

"Your right. I do need to be sober for this. The cards say that this is only the beginning. More deaths will come and will end with the death of one of our own." She says.

"How many more are we looking at Cana?" Laxus asks quietly as a few early risers walk in.

"At least two more, but then things get hairy as if another person gets involved with the killings." She says and I frown.

"Maybe I'll pick up their scent." Lazus sighs before standing.

"So what now? We sit on our assess and wait?" Mira hisses.

"No, we're going to trap this guy. If we have a small group of people waiting around. He'll be less likely to strike or at the very least if he's bold we'll catch a glimpse of him." Laxus says and I nod in agreement. It sounded like a solid plan.

"We will continue this talk later." Laxus says and we nod before he goes up to the second floor. Cana leaves to her usual place. I look to Mira.

"There's something bothering me, but I didn't want to bring it up in front of Laxus. It's about Lucy. He himself has said that she smells similar to the crimes scenes, but could she have really done this?"

"Erza what are you getting at?" Mira asks worriedly.

"Could Lucy have killed them?" I ask her quietly and she raises a hand to cup her cheek.
