Mars is okay and that's all I need.
Yeah, she's got a few broken bones, bruises, and cuts, but she's going to be okay.
My parents have been refusing to talk to me, which I don't really mind. Mary's parents gladly took me in. I grabbed some of my stuff and I'm now living with Mars for however long I have to. We both enjoy getting to live together. It brought us closer, both figuratively and literally because we sleep together in the same bed every night. Mars doesn't like me sleeping downstairs in the guest room.
Despite all of the shit in the last month or so, I couldn't be happier. It was the middle of summer, there was no school, and I was living with the girl I loved, everything was perfect.
At least Mars got to say hello to the stars like she wanted, all without having to leave me for too long.
