I'm outside the party. Trying to catch my breath, trying to calm my nerves. I breathe in slowly and open the door. The music hits me and I cover my ears. I stumble over a passed out girl on the ground. I bend down and shout "Are you okay?" She murmurs something and moves. She's ok. I keep walking, scanning around, trying to find Chris. I round the corner, and I hesitantly head up the stairs. I open bedroom doors slowly, scared of what I might find. He's not up here. Where is he? I head back down the stairs ready to leave. As I'm reaching toward the door, something catches my eye. I turn and see him, with her. They're kissing, and I'm shattering into pieces. I shake my head and back away, reaching back towards the door. Chris see me. "No, please, Sophie, you got it all wrong!" he shouts. I stand with my hand on the handle, my eyes closed. Contemplating. I feel his hand touching my
shoulder. "Sophie, please." Chris says. I open my eyes. "Come here, Chris!" Katie squeals. "Your girlfriend wants you." I say coldly. He looks at me blankly and I turn away, opening up the door.
