(Chris POV.)
I grab Sophie by the hand and pull her outside with me. "Just leave--" I bend down and kiss her, cutting her off. I kiss her passionately, like never before. I kiss her until she pulls away. I stand there, gazing at her. "But I want you." I say out of breath. And I mean it. "Before, what you saw, she kissed me, I was going to break up with Katie." I ramble on "She's drunk and she's nothing--" Sophie pulls me in and kisses me on the cheek. "She's nothing like you." I finish. Sophie smiles at me. "You're alright, I guess." Sophie says jokingly. I grin as I put my arm around her. We start strolling down the street laughing at each other; talking. She pulls away from me and starts dancing around playfully, wanting me to come catch her. I run after her and pull her into my arms laughing. I let her get away again and she runs into a yard across the street; she sticks her tongue out at me. I
slowly make my way across the street to her, stopping to pretend I'm tying my shoe. I should of seen the car coming, or at least hear it. But I didn't. The last thing I saw was Sophie starting to run towards me, her face scared. Then I felt pain. Then I felt nothing.
