Author's Note: Hey everyone! As part of my New Year's Resolution, I want to donate more to organizations. So I am pleased to announce that for the month of January, I will donate 25 cents to the Cheetah Conservation Fund for every comment made on a chapter. This doesn't include one word comments, but rather well-thought out suggestions and observations. You can comment on a chapter as many times as you wish, but keep in mind that only one comment per person per chapter counts towards the donations. That means if you comment on each of the eight chapters published as of the time of this announcement, $2.00 will be donated (this announcement does not count as a chapter). At the end of the month I will pool all the earnings together and donate using my own money.
About the Cheetah Conservation Fund:
(Taken directly from their website)
"Cheetah Conservation Fund is the world's leading organization dedicated to saving the cheetah in the wild. Founded by Dr. Laurie Marker in 1990, CCF has created a set of integrated programs aimed at addressing the principle threats to the cheetah.
"CCF's conservation programming is rooted in scientific research. CCF maintains a research program on the biology, ecology and genetics of cheetahs that publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals annually, and currently operates the only fully-equipped genetics lab at an in-situ conservation facility in Africa.
"Using this research as an underpinning, CCF has created a set of integrated programs that together address the threats both to the cheetah and its entire ecosystem, including human populations. CCF operates from the principal that only by securing the future of the communities that live alongside the cheetah can you secure a future for the cheetah. Helping people helps cheetahs."Money earned so far: $4.50 USD
