Amy's POV:

I'm going to rehearsal and I'm so excited because Piper comes back off vacation today! I see her as I approach Neutral Grounds. I run up to her and we have so much to catch up on. She tells me how she caught James on the phone to Riley and it was the most romantic thing.
"I've never seen James this happy before! And it's all because of Riley." She smiles bright and I know that Emily is Riley's sister. There's my link.
"Actually, speaking of Riley, her sister gave me a duet. Well, I'm understudying Richelle, but still." She gives me the biggest hug and brags for me. I'm so happy to see her again. Although we're on different teams currently, I know we'll be back together soon. I'm happy. She's happy. Maybe we're where we belong. I like acro. She doesn't. It's as simple as that.

Piper's POV:

I wasn't looking forward to being back off vacation, but seeing Amy's face reminds me why I love it here. It doesn't matter to me that Amy and I aren't dancing together right now. Only this second matters and I'm hoping to make it count.

Amy just told me she got a duet with Noah. Noah's officially the strongest dancer on the team-as voted last year by former A-Troupe, but now Alfie's gone-and Amy's understudying Richelle. Amy got third last year, Richelle in fourth and I love watching her dance. I don't see why this isn't her duet. I give her a bit of confidence and I know what she's thinking. Amy doubts herself a lot and I want to be the one to help her.
"Amy! You're amazing! Don't even worry about it, maybe you won't perform it. I think you should, personally but it all just depends on Richelle." She chats away about how Richelle has to recover from several injuries, but never said anything so that she could dance. Apparently, she's now on doctor's orders which is why Amy has to be ready. I just hope she is.

Richelle comes over to us and starts talking like her and Amy are best friends. Lola's not with her, which is odd, but I just put it down to a confidence booster.
"Hi, Piper! I'm so happy you're back! I know we're on different teams now and everything, but I want you to know you're a great dancer and that I've missed you." I smile, but I just feel awkward. Why is Richelle suddenly being nice to me? Is it one of those mind games that Michelle once played on me? Because I can't deal with that again. What's even stranger, is that she hugs Amy and Amy hugs back. Well, looks like someone's been missing me. I need to get back to dance.

I'm just rehearsing a solo I had planned when Michelle walks in. She doesn't say anything, just watches me dance. It makes me a little nervous, I mean she was Miss National Soloist for two years before we lost regionals. I still don't like thinking about that. It makes me miss the team. A Troupe, 0% club, Riley. Just everything about that year. I want things to go back to the way they were. But I'm not sure how to make that happen. I just know it has to.

Richelle's POV:

When I see that Piper's back, I go over and tell her I've missed her. I'm trying to be nice. I mean she is Amy's friend and Lola's been teaching me social skills. That, and it keeps my mind off Noah. She seems a little startled, but I am honestly happy she's back. I just wish we were on the same team. Maybe then I wouldn't be so bitter towards Michelle. Who knows? Maybe I still would. Because I love Emily like a sister and Emily does not like Michelle.

A/N: This is kind of short and kind of a filler, but Piper's back from vacation!

To be honest, when I started writing this I didn't really include Piper, but as she is one of my favourite characters I couldn't resist.
