15. I really do love him

Noah's POV:

I've ruined everything. I have to change this. I can't wait a day to have her back. She fits perfectly in my arms. We were made for each other.

I invited Lola to meet me to get juice, but really I just need a plan. I need Richelle.
"Hi." I say as she sits. She already knows the look.
"Richelle's insecure. Maybe that kiss didn't mean anything to you, but she's paranoid. She's told me about what's going on. You don't have to explain yourself." I'm thankful, but I also wish it was just between the two of us.
"Well, I just don't know what to do. I told her I'd wait for her, but I just-I don't know. Maybe I'm just not prepared for this." She doesn't know how to react.
"You can't give up because of this. Let her talk to you. You need to understand what she's going through. I can't do that for you." Lola's pretty cool. She really helps. I need Richelle, but Richelle has to need me too if this will work.

I find Richelle later on, and sit her down.
"Noah if you're here to try to talk to me again, I don't need it." I shake my head.
"No. I want you to talk to me." She's a little surprised, but ignores me for the most part.
"No." I felt that.
"Please. I just- how are you feeling?" She smiles a little, I notice that about her.
"Well, I'm a little overwhelmed." And just like that, she's talking away.

"It's more of a thing. You know, have you ever felt that way?" Not really. I don't reply other than a head shake.
"It's where I feel as if everyone is better than me and can replace me and I really can't help it." She's finally being honest with me.
"You are the only one I've felt safe with for a long time. I mean, Lola's my best friend, but it isn't the same. You've always been there. And I've always been a part of your life,but it hasn't been quite this intimate. I'm afraid of what we could become." Yes, this is Richelle. I thought she was unbreakable, but here we are.
"Beautiful baby, I never knew. I've always wanted to be more with you. We're the inevitable. We're the unbreakable. We're the Richelle and Noah relationship everyone wants. Even you do." She smiles at that a little bit.
"Noah, you don't have to wait for me. I mean, for one I believe you and for two, I love you. I couldn't break your heart even if I tried." I couldn't either.

And at that moment, I knew I could never replace Richelle.

Richelle's POV:

"Okay, Noah, give your announcement." Emily stops the rehearsal. Emily never stops the rehearsal.
"Okay so in this room right now is a beautiful blonde baby girl that I love very dearly." Everyone turns to look at me. I'm blushing something fierce.
"She's inspiring as a dancer, a girlfriend and a human in general." This speech has barely began and I'm already sobbing inside.
"She's been going through a lot lately, although she puts up a brave facade. I know that she will hate me for telling you this, but she is the most beautiful girl out there." I feel bad after what he says.
"Anyway, she's the girl of my dreams, my inevitable, my Richelle." I look up at this, in his eyes is pure sparkle.
"So I know we're young and probably a little bit stupid- I'm stupid, she isn't- but I really hope you will agree when I say she's the love of my life." I see a few nods, Lola's eyes are glowing.
"So Richelle, please take this-" He produces a ring from his pocket and I instantly go dizzy.
"As a promise from me to you." Thank the sweet sky for this ring.

I look at him, realise how lucky I am, put on the ring, kiss him and then whisper to him.
"I love you." He says the same and I can't help it. I really do love him.
