14. Wait for me

Richelle's POV:

I can't believe we all made it. Noah, Amy,Piper,Lola,Henry and I all made it. Jacquie did as well, but I just kind of ignore her and that group. Heather stays with us as well, but half the time I'm too engaged in Noah to realise. Our relationship has been thriving lately. Although, Jacquie does keep smiling at us and it's putting me on edge a little.

"Hey, babe. Can we go grab some juice together?" I look at him and blush. I take the orders from everyone and leave. I need two strawberry juices,three pink juices and then whatever Noah wants.

"So we need to talk about something. I want you to know that it doesn't matter to me, but I just want to be completely honest with you and it isn't fair if you found this out from someone else." What is wrong with Noah today?
"Okay, I will try my best." It's non-committal, but of course, Noah still takes it as flirting.
"You know how I ran out after Jacquie when we did the dance battle? And how I told Henry that if he went, something bad might happen?" I can't tell if it's a question or a statement. Either way, my blood is boiling.
"What happened Noah?" I get through gritted teeth.
"Well, she hugged me...that's not all. She kissed me, it was just a peck, but I just thought you should know." His face has deflated and he's hopeless. I can't do this to him.
"Look at me,Richelle. I didn't mean-I didn't want it to mean anything." Oh. So it did mean something.
"I just. I don't know. She was there, crying and I was there. It just happened. Please look at me." I give in, but only so I can be as harsh as I can get.
"Did it mean something?" He's confused as if I'm trying to capture his lies,which partly I am.
"No. Blonde baby, I love you. And I let her know that, she said it was just a goodbye kiss. I don't know why she did it, but maybe it was just for closure. I can accept that, but I won't unless you do." I don't know what to do. We've been so far apart for the whole year that it feels so hard to trust him. Maybe I just need some space.
"Noah?" I question.
"Yes, babe." I love it when he says that. I love him. Does he love me?
"Will you wait for me?" I can't help these words. I have to know.
"Richelle, it didn't mean-" I cut him off.
"I know. I just-Wait for me?"
"Okay."

A/N: Okay so please don't hate me, but I had to do this so that the story can progress. However, the next chapter is the last one so how long will Noah wait?

Also I'm aware that the majority
of my chapters are short, but I like that in a book so I hope you don't mind.
