I was in my room trying to figure out how to bring this matter up, "I think maybe we should take a break." I say into the mirror, "No. Ugh."
"Luke, I think we should break up, no it's not you it's me." I say, and then I sigh, "I can't use that one, it's too typical."  (Your outfit is pictured above)

Then I heard a knock on my door, "Come in!" I say,and the door opens,

"M'lady, Luke Skywalker is here. He is in the garden." My guard said, and he left the room.

I sigh, and began walking down the stairs. Don't get me wrong I love Luke, alot... It's just our careers that are getting in the way, he's a Jedi, and I'm a Queen. I have to protect my kingdom, and my planet, and he has to protect the whole Galaxy.

I made my way to garden, and it was beautiful this time of year, and Luke was sitting on a bench near the roses.

He stood up, "You look beautiful, Y/N." Luke said, and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you." I say, and looked at the ground.

Luke looked at me, "Y/N, what is troubling you? And don't tell me it's nothing, because I can sense it. You're feeling uneasy." He said, and I looked up at him,

I sighed reply looking into his blue eyes, "I know were both thinking the same thing, but I think we need to break up " I said, and he sat down next to me.

He rubbed his hands together, "Yeah, I do too. I still love you, and I always will." He said, and I leaned my head on his shoulder,

"We're just so busy, I have so much to do, and your always gone. I mean, this is the first time in three months that we have seen each other.." I say, and he picked up my hand, "I think it would be for the best. And I will always love you too, but it's for the best." I say, and he kisses my cheek.

He got up, and pulled me into a hug, we agreed that it was for the best, and he left.

•Five Weeks Later•

I'm pregnant. I obviously know how it happened, but it happened unintentionally. I wasn't feeling to well, and I missed my period, and that was an obvious answer, but anything could have caused my period to skip, right? Second clue was that I was nauseous, and was usually sick in the mornings.

I took a test and it was positive. Will I tell Luke? Maybe..Probably not. I mean, we haven't talked since we broke up, and Leia told me he was on a mission, so I didn't want to bother him.

I got dressed, because I had to let my people know about this baby.

I walked into the garden where everyone met, and I told everyone about my pregnancy. Everyone was excited, many were congratulating me, because after all, this baby would be next to the throne.

•Luke's POV•

I was on a mission to Kamino, when my hologram went off, and I answered it,
"Hey, Leia." I said, and she had a serious look on her face, "What's wrong Leia?"

"You and Y/N broke up, right?" She asked, and I sighed,

"Yes, Leia. Why?" And she folded her arms against her chest, then Han came into the picture.

"She's knocked up, kid." Han says, and Leia slaps him in the shoulder, "Ow-"

"What?" I say, and furrow my eyebrows, and Leia sighs,

"Luke, Y/N is pregnant. Is it yours?" Leia asked, and I sat back in my chair.

I stared off, "Luke? Is it?" Leia asked once again, "I have to find out." I said, and hung up.

•Your POV•

I just got out of a meeting with the council of Kamino to discuss political issues.

I was walking down the hallway, when I was pulled into a room. It was dark so I balled up my fist getting ready to punch, when I heard his voice, "Y/N, stop! It's me! It's Luke!"

I out my fist down, and turned in the light, "For the love of Hoth, why would you scare me like that? You could have just walked in and-"

"Are you pregnant?" Luke blurted out and I looked up,

"H-how did you find out?" I asked, and sat down on a chair, and he pulled up a chair in front of me.
He picked up my hands, and looked in my eyes, "So you are? How far along are you?" He asked.

"Yes, I am... About a month or so." I say, and he nods.

"Is it- is it mine?" He asked, and I gave him a half smile, "Well, you were the only one I've been with, so uh, yeah." I say, and he smiles.

"But why didn't you tell me when you found out?" He asked, and I breathed in deeply, "Because, you were on a mission, and we just split up. It was just really unexpected..." I say with a nervous chuckle.

"You should have told me, I would have gotten here as soon as possible, and then I wouldn't have had to find out through Leia." He said.

We sat there in silence for a few minutes, "I want to be here, with you. For you. I want to be here when the baby is born, and I want to be here with you through all of it." He said, and I smiled, "Really?" I ask, and he smiles, "Really."

He stood up, and he pulled me into a hug, "When I said, I would always love you, I meant it. I think we are meant to be together, and that's why this happened unexpectedly. And I can find a way around the whole Jedi thing." He said, and hugged me tight.

"I love you, Luke." I said, and he picked up my chin, "I love you even more, Y/N." He said and kissed my lips.

Now all we have to do is wait for baby Skywalker to get here.
