Chapter 19: Can I have this last dance?

*Sorry for the short chapter*

Poof. Poof. Poof. I thought to myself as I was teasing my hair getting ready. I had already had my black dress on. Okay Christina, this is the big day. I put on my make up and searched and searched for my fancy shoes. I found them under my bed right on time.

"Christina! It's time!" My mother called from downstairs.

"Coming!" I shouted back as I slipped into the shoes. I slowly walked down the stairs so I wouldn't trip over my dress and fall down the stairs. My mom was flashing the camera and my dad was doing the same. I started to feel as if they were paparazzi.

"Stunning." Bobby said smiling at the bottom of the stairs. He looked so cute in his tuxedo.

"Awe thank you Bobby!" I said hugging him. The hug made me feel so secure in his arms I didn't want to pull away.

"Here.." He said as he pulled out a small bouquet of white flowers.

"They're perfect. Hold up, let me get your boutonniere." I ran in the kitchen and grabbed it out of the fridge where I kept it for safe keeping. I came back and I pulled it out of the little box and pinned it to his tux. I patted it just in case it wasn't pinned tight enough and I looked up and saw Bobby smiling big at me. I couldn't help but blush. Just that smile. It just lit up the place.

"Okay, picture time!" My dad said walking outside.

Many poses and pictures later our limo had showed up containing a few of our good friends. We went to a open grass area where it had a little pond to take some amazing pictures. After pictures it was time for the real thing.

                     Prom.

When we went inside all I see were blue, red, green,  white, and purple lights. My friends were looking gorgeous in their prom dresses with their boyfriends. And then there's me. With my best friend. I promised myself before I left that house several hours before; I will enter that prom his best friend; and I will leave as his girlfriend.

The best music was playing and the food was amazing. For hours, I was dancing and singing my little butt off! I was having a blast! Bobby came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Can I have this last dance?" He whispered in my ear. I looked around and the music was getting slower, and every one was pairing up. He held my hand and turned me around to face him. He placed my arms around his neck and put his hands on my waist,  then pulled me close. He wrapped his arms further around my waist and pulled me even closer.

I really didn't know what to do..my heart was beating out of my chest. He rested his head on mine and we danced. I could feel his heart beat as my head laid on his chest. I looked up and stare into his eyes. Those beautiful, beautiful brown eyes. This is it Christina. Just do it. I played with his hair with my fingers and he grew a smile on his face. That smile gave me motivation. I created that smile. I stood on my tippy toes and I leaned in, I hesitated at first but then I just went for it. I kissed him. A few seconds later he kissed me back. We kissed the whole song. I couldn't be any happier!

"What are you dreaming about?" Bobby asked as he played with my hair waking me up. I slowly open my eyes and saw him smirking at me.

"Huh?"

"You were smiling in your sleep."

" Oh..I dreamt of our prom night." I smirked.

"That was the second best night ever."

"What was the first?"

"When you said you'd marry me." He said as he leaned over and kissed my lips.

"That was the best night of my life." I smiled and placed my hand on his cheek. I rubbed my thumb up and down his cheek as we stared into each others eyes. He got up from the bed, pulled out a few clothes and threw them at me.

"Alright, let's get ready!"

"For what?" I asked sitting up, taking the clothes off my head.

"We have a wedding to plan."
