"She's fine, Kozume-kun, Kuroo-kun. Just a little nosebleed is all." The resident school doctor assured the two boys who were watching as she wipes the blood off Kirara's philthrum.

"Just rest here for a bit to shake off that dizziness you are feeling, Kozume-san. After that, you can go home. Lay off with the club activities for today."

"Yes, thank you sensei." Kirara thanked her before lying down on one of the beds in the clinic. She can still feel the dull pain on her face since a ball was spiked to her face earlier afterall. "I saw stars earlier.."

"Kuro..." Kenma silently growled as he pinched the giants side, "...be more mindful of your surroundings next time." he lectured.

Despite Kuroo not allowing him to follow, he still followed them.

"I will, I will sheesh~" Kuroo sighed as he rubs his nape. "Hey, Kira.. I'm really sorry. I'll carry your stuff for you. Heck, I'll even carry you on my back or even like a princess--! Kenma, stop it!" he winced when his childhood friend pinched him again on his side.

"You called me Kira. Haha~" she laughed a little at how this huge man is trying to console her while her brother just frowned a bit at his childhood friend.

"I need to leave now, there is an overnight seminar I need to attend to and my cab is waiting. I'll leave the key to you, Kuroo-kun. Just leave it under the potted plant outside the door after you locked up. Just let her rest and she can go home." The doctor instructed him as he hands over a key will a keychain that the label "infirmary".

"Go and return to practice Kenma. They need to practice spiking and they need the setter for that. I'll look after her for now."

"Kuro."

"Yes, yes~ I will not do anything. Just going to watch over her. Plus I know more about first aid than you so run along now." He joked with him which earned him a exasperated sigh from the pudding haired boy.

"Fine. I'll bring your things later here. We're all going home together."

After saying those words, Kenma left for the gym.

"...did you hate it?" Kuroo asked the girl who was lying down on the bed.

"Hate what?"

"That I called you Kira."

"Now that is an odd question, Kuroo-san." She laughed a little after commenting. Maybe it because of her light-headedness that she feels comfortable talking with the man whom she proclaimed as someone he hates earlier.

"I honestly don't mind. Kozume makes me feel distant from the person speaking with me. Especially if that person is going to be someone who I will see and speak to everyday. I prefer being called by my given name. Kira is fine." She smiled a little. "Also, I want to apologize for slapping you earlier..." she trailed off before sitting up from the bed. Lowering her head to him, she bowed and uttered her apology, "I'm sorry, senpai."

A giant hand found itself on top of her head and tousled her hair a little.

"I don't mind. I too had done something worth being mad about earlier. So we can call it even." He smiled at her, laughing a little bit.

Silence fell for a moment before the male squatted down to the floor. He looked up to her who was still sitting on the bed and offered his hand to her.
