"Being the subject of your eyes is wonderful yet terrifying"

"Kira, what happened?" Kuroo attempted to speak with the female who is silenty shedding tears infront of him.
He looked around the area and sighed in relief when he saw that no one was there anymore. Their situation can be completely misunderstood if anyone was watching them.
"Hngh.." the girl groaned as she shook her head wiping her tears that continued to fall. She can feel the embarrassment creeping up on her for crying before a guy she barely knew.
Looking at her somewhat intently, something snapped inside him.
"...Kirara." Kuroo squished her cheeks between his palms and made her look at him. "Come on, out with it."
"Uuuuu..." she sobbed, still defiant but he could see that she was slowly crumbling down.
Sighing, he pulled her close to his chest. She was situated in between his legs as he sat on the concrete floor, his back leaning on the railing.
"Then cry it out. It seems that you've been holding it back since a while ago, so go on and cry. I won't say anything after." He sheepishly said, looking away.
That awkward attempt to console her somehow worked because no sooner that he said those things, she cried to him, although silent. Her breath would hitch occassionally, her dainty fingers gripping onto his white shirt under his school coat.
Kuroo sighed inaudibly, stroking her hair a bit as his gaze wanders to the blue heavens above them.
"Good girl, good girl." He started praising her which earned him a light smack on the chest from the girl who was slowly calming down.
They were in that position for a while and when she was finally done crying, the first period for the second half of the day have already started.
Kuroo decided that they should just return before second period starts since they'll get in trouble if they go back now.
"Look here." He made her face him and he started wiping her tears with his thumb. The girl was staring at him with those golden eyes, intently. "Like what you see?" He teased her when he caught her sight.
She was silent for a few moments, still staring. She sniffed a bit, eyebrows furrowed a little since she only just finished crying before saying,
"...you have an annoying smile."
Even though he was smiling, an angry tick popped up on his forehead. Kuroo held a solid grip on top of her head and was slowly started squeezing it, adding a bit of force on his fingertips which made the female yelp.
"Hu---------uh?! What language is that, Kirara-san? Does it mean, "Thank you, Kuroo-san. You are such a kind person!", tell me Kirara-san. Is that what you're trying to say?"
"H-hurts! It hurts, Kuroo-san!" She complained as she tries to push his hand away by holding onto his wrist.
"Let go!"
