Blue Skies
"Forgetting a lifetime's worth of love is easier said than done."
○●○●○●○
Life in Tokyo is fast-paced, busy, and noisy. Everyone seems to be heading somewhere in different directions. What interesting things can they see with their eyes?
Moving from Miyagi to this metropolitan city is slowly taking its toll on me. The air is dry and dusty, too many people bumping, cars honking... I see and hear a lot everyday, but why are my eyes glued to the skies that are so serenely blue?
Why must it remind me of you?
"Kira, let's go. The light is green."
"Ho-oh~ are there no buildings like that back in Miyagi? That's a countryfolk for you."
"I was looking at the sky. The color of it reminded me of the uniform Tooru wears proudly on his back." I replied, before breaking my sight away from it.
That brilliant light shade of blue tinge with green, the color you proudly wear on your back as you shine brightly on the court. The Grand King.
What kind of spell have you binded me with?
It has been almost a month since the school term started and I haven't made any friends. I was informed by my class adviser that my grades back in Karasuno made me eligible to be transferred to the advance class. It also appears that I was the only new student in this class, that's why they did not have the need to be friendly with me because they already have their own groups.
I'm lonely.
In this school, my friends are no longer here. My classmates, my adviser, my club members, the neighbors from the next class over; they aren't here and I am alone.
Wind blows perpetually in spring, today was no different. When a strong gust of wind blew through the windows that I sat beside of, my eyes were fixed to the skies again.
It truly reminded me of that person, and it hurts to remember it.
"Excuse me, Kozume-san!"
A voice snapped me out of my trance when I heard my name being called out. There was a classmate of mine standing before my desk. I belive he occupies the seat infront of me.
What a bright smile.
"A third year is looking for you." He pointed at the door and there I saw my brother's friend, Kuroo-san.
"It's lunch now so you should eat." My classmate added which made me look at him again. He rummages for something in his bag but stopped when he caught me looking at him.
Tilting his head to the side a bit, still with that smile of his, he seems to be asking 'what is it?'.
"Thank you." I gave him my thanks which he just dismissed with a wave of his hand and a chuckle.
"No problem!"
Truly, what a bright smile. I wish I could smile like that again.
Kuroo invited us siblings to take our lunch at the rooftop again. Third years aren't that busy yet during the start of the term so I guess he must be taking this chance to relax as much as he can.
